I'm very fair skinned (red tint) and tried a few other "tinted moisturizers" that I hated. I live in Florida and chose this because of the high SPF. I've never worn foundation, as I like to be as natural as possible, And this product is exactly what it says it is.
The tint is quite visible on my fair skin, so I'm sure to go into my hairline and a bit below my chin as well. I got three compliments the first day of how nice my skin looked - it evens out complexion and leaves you with a glow.
I first spray my face with Mario Budesdco rose water then use a pearl size of the origins product. I find it is a bit thick and I don't want to pull my skin by rubbing it in too hard, so the rose water helps for ease of application. It appears sunscreeny until it absorbs, then I continue with my bronzer which mattes it out a bit.
Love love love!
I went to an actual Origins store to replace the C&C tinted face cream. Well Origins did it again, discontinued another product that I love. OK to I bought the GinZing as a replacement. It is ok but it is too thick and my face feels oily at the end of the day. the C&C lotion was awesome and did not feel like that. I would only recommend this product if you have dry skin. Not a fan. Now I have to go out and search for new tinted lotion since I do not wear makeup. Not too happy.

I love this tinted moisturizer so much! It makes my skin look beautiful and glowing, and it is not at all greasy. When I first started using it, I only used it when I was on vacation at the beach and didn't want to put on foundation. Lately I have started using this every day and have given up foundation all together. And I love that it is a sunscreen as well. I highly recommend this product!

This is extremely thick and greasy on the face, with the added disappointment of not absorbing in at all. As a sunscreen/moisturizer combo, I thought it would soak into your skin, but this is more reminiscent of your mom's white zinc triangle, complete with odd residue. Never again.

Best foundation/tinted moisturizer I've ever used.

I used to use Vitazing but they discontinued it and replaced it with Ginzing. That was several years ago and I've been using this ever since. It's a staple product of mine. I don't wear it under foundation because I find it can feel a bit heavy and end up making my foundation look a bit cakey when worn that way. Instead I use it on no makeup days as a stand alone product to even out my complexion. Sometimes I add blush over top but that's about it. It provides a bit of dewy glow and looks fresh all day while giving a subtle boost to my complexion. The tint goes on ever so slightly darker than my natural skin tone, but not in a noticeable or unflattering way. It does wear off on a mask so it really doesn't stick to skin like a foundation but that doesn't bother me since it is indeed a true tinted moisturizer. If the formula was a bit thinner like Vitazing was I would give it five stars. Because it's on the thicker side it's slightly harder to blend evenly over my face with my fingers, hence the four stars. A tube lasts me several months with twice to three times weekly usage.

This has become a favorite moisturizer because of the additional benefits. SPF 40 is a real boost, but many don't seem to realize that the tint is NOT a foundation, but a primer. As such the whitish color prepares your face, like an artist's palette, to take on any foundation color, and remain consistent all over your face, creating a smooth perfect complexion. Eliminating imperfections means I use less foundation for a more natural look. Try it.

Most sunscreen with tint has too much tint for me - I like my skin to actually see my skin and not hide it, but this sunscreen with tint is PERFECT! It has just a hint of tint and allows my freckles to show while protecting my skin from the sun! Thanks Origins for making a great product!

I love that this product evens out my skin tone. I have fought with pink skin my whole life and this product tones it down and leaves me looking dewey and natural.

I absolutely love this product. It doubles as a foundation and moisturizer. It gives your skin a nice glow but it not heavy at all. If someone is looking for a true foundation, this is not it ( but you could use under one). I give this as a gifts to all my friends and they all love it.

Even though this product line is owned and formulated by Estée Lauder, it literally sucks! Poorly formulated cleansers and moisturizers galore! This product in particular causes my skin to look dirty and drab. The only decent range is the Mega Mushroom line of products. Estée Lauder is in dire need of reformulating this product line. Save your hard earned money!

I have dry, sensitive skin and this is the best tinted moisturizer I've used; foundations and tinted moisturizers that have SPF in them, especially a higher SPF tend to dry my skin out, even if I put a primer on first and heavily moisturize prior to application. I recently tried Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and really wanted to like it, but my skin feels dry and looks very textured with it on. Hopefully this product doesn't get discontinued (things I like tend to get discontinued).

I had high hopes because I don't wear very much makeup. I have medium-light skin. In the winter I would use one of the lightest tone foundation options and in the summer something a little darker. I am surprised at how white/gray this lotion is at the end of the day. I will definitely need to wear something over it even in the winter.
Things I like: how it feels, easy application, no settling into lines or becoming patchy.

I love this tinted moisturizer. Do not expect full coverage from this product. It blends well (I have medium/tan skin) and evens out my skin tone without having to use heavy foundations.
I used this product from the beginning and did find that the formula with the original SPF 15 provided a better color match/coverage, however, I found a trick for using this (pay attention if you have darker skin) -- I mix a tiny amount of my face lotion and somehow this helps the product to spread better and provide the same color matching ability as the original. I am very happy for the 40 SPF vs 15 SPF but it did change the formulation/performance of the product.
It does tend to make me a bit oily but a little touch of powder tones that down (I am combination/oily) and is no big deal as this is the only "make-up" I wear on my skin. I would highly recommend this product for lightweight SPF coverage and tone balancing.

I had high hopes for this sunscreen. It leaves a white-ish gray cast. I thought that since it was labeled as tinted, it's tailored for a white person who's trying to look tanner.. it's sticky, it creases and it separates easily. Not built for hot weather.

I had high hopes for this tinted moisturizer, but it didn't work out for me and I had to return it. After applying it to my skin, it would rub off on to my hands, into the sink, etc. It was a mess!

I love this so much for the SPF 40 & soft tint to my skin that matches perfect no matter the time of year. It's quick and easy & looks super natural! It's not the most long wearing but easy to touch up by blotting or powdering!

Since it's called tinted I expected this to provide light coverage for evening out redness, similar to a BB cream, but it's completely sheer on my light skin tone. I should have realized that because you don't choose an option that matches your skin tone, it's just one product option. The product out of the tube is white and a tiny bit textured, so I understand the reviews from customers who say it doesn't blend well for all skin tones.
Even though it doesn't provide the tint I was hoping for, I can still wear it under my make up. It's a tiny bit greasy, so I'll wear it in place of moisturizer. All in all it does help me consolidate one step of my morning routine, just not the one I expected.

As a moisturizer I think it's good. I like the coverage it gives, the smell is fine, I also think the color is good. My problem is that it stains everything. Even after I wash my hands I wipe them on my white towel and I can still see color. I only wear this when I have dark colors on because I don't want this on my clothes. I don't think I would buy again because of that reason

It didn't work for me! It may work for others. Fells so heavy on the skin like if you have a whole layer of oil and oxidized horrible, tried to make it work with setting power and stil oxidized. wish I could return and get my money back!!

Very nice filling perfect for people who don't like much makeup!

I've replaced my high end primers with this and it does the most with providing a perfect glow while holding makeup in place. It does not irritate or breakout my sensitive skin. I do wish the "tint" was more noticeable on my medium skin tone. They should expand the color range, but I love the product and will continue to purchase.

I've tried at least a dozen SPF tinted moisturizers from other brands in the past but this one from Origins has become my absolute favorite! I've been using it for at least 5-6 years and will never switch to another brand's product. It is light weight with a subtle tint & coverage that makes your skin look amazing, it blends beautifully and has excellent SPF -- hydrating, but not greasy or whitish. My aging skin looks so much better, yet still very natural, with this tinted moisturizer. I add a little cream-to-powder type blush on my cheeks, set my skin with a few swipes of BM's Hydrating Mineral Veil, add mascara & lip tint -- quick & easy - done! Did I say I love this product? Well, I do! :)

Can't often claim this, but everything Origins advertises about this product is true. I've tried so many other tinted moisturizers - high end - and nothing, absolutely nothing compares to this.
On my mature (fair) skin this offers just the right amount of coverage and color, with a beautifully healthy, natural glow! It truly makes your skin look good. Really really good.

I usually only write a review after I have used a product for a while but I could not wait to tell you how much I love this!!! I chose this as a free sample when I was placing an order because I had read about it and was very curious. I just tried it this morning and it is fantastic!! It looks natural. My skin has never looked so flawless. It evens out your skin tone and gives you a nice natural glow and it looks like I am wearing nothing!!! Just born that way, lol. I will be ordering this in the full size. For the record I have medium white skin and this matches perfectly. With just a little night bloom tinted balm and mascara I'm all set. And the 40 spf means no sun damage while I'm outside this summer. Thank you Origins!!! You hit the bullseye with this product.
Dancemachine724 from Houston
I have been using it every day for 7 months and it's still not empty! I don't use a pea size amount either, more like a quarter. I love how it has a light tint and dries quickly. I use it under my foundation.
Frankie from New Jersey
I do not like most moisturizers with SPF because they always seem so greasy on my face. Not this one. It absorbs nicely and leaves a healthy looking tint. I actually enjoy using it, plus it has a pleasant smell.
