Can you use this before heat styling?

Freeze and Shines does not contain thermal protection. I'm echoing the reviews that say something has changed. My last purchase is crusting on my hair and NOT holding like it used to. What I loved about PM Freeze and Shine was how you could brush through at the end of the day and it also held all day long. Now it is crusty and my hair is flopping forward. I'll be looking for another brand as well.
