Can you use this before heat styling?

Freeze and Shines does not contain thermal protection. I used to buy Paul Mitchell freeze and shine super spray now all you can get is Paul Mitchell freeze and shine hairspray and it is not the same at all. In all honesty it sucks. I'm 59 and have been using this for years. So sad you changed it cause now I'm going to have to start looking for something that comes somewhat close. Terrible move.

this product was awesome...but something has changed and its not longer reliable. I have started to find other products for half the price and better then this one. I still want to give this one PM freeze a try since I've been using it for over 10 years... but sadly, this is coming to an end and maybe possibly changing to better products. Why Mess with a Good Thing?

I have been using Freeze and Shine since 1987. I knew this day would eventually come when you would change the formula and it would no longer work. That day has come. I went online to get the large refill bottle but saw the reviews, so I thought I would go to a local store and pick up a smaller bottle. The reviews are correct, you've changed the formula and not for the better. The beauty of Freeze and Shine was that it would hold the style of your hair, give you fullness and movement, without buildup or damage. All of that is gone; there is buildup and it's very drying. It's like I've gone back to the 1980s and I'm using "Stiff Stuff," that was horribly drying and damaging to my hair. I don't understand this, why mess with a good thing? For over 38 years this product has been out on the market, served the consumer well, formula was fine. Now you're just like any other hairspray if not worse. Don't mess with a good thing Paul Mitchell and the old Freeze and Shine was a good thing.
