Pass on this pretty bottle, terrible product!
Thankful that Ulta has a return policy because this went right back to the store. It really didn't give me the results that I hoped to have from the description. I felt like it made my hair oily and I really didn't see any softness or shine.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Never used a styling shine spray before until this one and I wish I found this sooner!! Was scared it would leave my hair sticky or weigh it down but it didn't! I noticed a shine to my hair after using this. Definitely recommend

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a high-quality shine spray. It not only makes your hair shine but it holds its volume. It has a professional packaging with a high-end scent. It feels like you just walked out of the salon. 10/10 in my book!!
Another damaged product
I usually buy this product at my local ULTA but since I was placing an online order I decided to add this hairspray to my order. Needless to say I was very disappointed when the product arrived with no cap and the can had several visible dents. ULTA needs to do better with their online orders as this is not the first time I have received products that require me to go directly to the store and do an exchange

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It gives the hair a more polished look. Sensitive enough so that you dont have an itchy scalp halfway through the day. Love that it is not an aerosol spray so you dont have that strong smell while spraying.
I've used this hairspray for years!
This hairspray is perfect for my hair. It's light and then brushes right out!

Is this the ORIGINAL formula of Sebastian Shaper Plus Hairspray or a new formula?

- Official Answer By SebastianWhile the aesthetic has changed, the formulas remain exactly the same. The circular "original" sticker has been permanently removed from the Shaper cans; however, the product inside has not changed. VOC Level Regulations Both Shaper and Shaper Plus continue to be available in 50% and 80% VOC variations. However, due to state regulations aimed at reducing Volatile Organic Compounds in aerosol products, 80 VOC cans cannot be sold in certain regions. The 55% VOC version is the only option available for shipment to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, UT, VA, and VT. - Official Answer By SebastianNo. Sebastian Texture Maker contains Alcohol Denat. (denatured alcohol) high on its ingredient list. Alcohol vapors released during and right after spraying are highly flammable. Due to VOC Regulation in certain states for the Reduction of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) in aerosol products, all manufacturers have been required to stop selling any hair finishing sprays with VOC content over 50 to the following states. AZ, CO, CT, DE, IL, IN, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, UT, VT, VA, CA, and DC. Here's a breakdown of the information about Sebastian Shaper hairsprays with different VOC levels: • No difference in hold: The holding power of Shaper Plus is the same whether it's the 50%, 55%, or 80% VOC versions. • VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compound: These are chemicals that evaporate easily at room temperature. In hairspray, they are used as propellants. • LVOC = Low Volatile Organic Compound: Shaper uses a low level of VOCs. • Drying time: ◦ Lower VOC versions might take slightly longer to dry and may feel slightly wetter initially compared to the 80% VOC version. ◦ There's minimal difference in drying time between 50% and 55% VOC versions. • Key takeaway: The main difference between the various VOC levels in Shaper products lies in their environmental impact and potential for contributing to air pollution. I have loved this hairspray for many years. But recently the last 2 cans I purchased the nozzle gets clogged. I have a 90% filled can & nothing will come out. Ive tried removing nozzle & soaking in warm soapy water overnight - but it still won't spray. This is expensive hairspray for me & its totally unusable now. Twice this has happened now.

I asked Sebastian on Ulta which of their current styling products would be the closest in performance to their much-loved and discontinued Shpritz Forte, and was told Shaper Fierce would be- although I noticed another person who had asked the same question was told by Sebastian that Shaper Plus is the best analog to Shpritz Forte…? Regardless, I neglected to specify that I am looking for a *non-aerosol* styling product from Sebastian's current inventory, as the Shpritz Forte was non-aerosol. The only Sebastian styling products that are non-aerosol that I can find are the "Volupt Spray" and the "Texturizer." Would either of these products provide the non-aerosol, powerful hold of Shpritz Forte? Thank you very much in advance.
