Most Helpful Positive Review Completely changed my hair for the better! I had researched Briogeo products for a while after receiving a sample of the curl defining cream in one of my ipsy bags. I finally decided to treat myself and purchased a full size of the curl cream (which is amazing for my naturally wavy but horribly frizzy-after-it's-dried hair) and splurged and purchased the Rosarco shampoo, conditioner, and mini-kit of products. At first I thought it didn't leave my hair silky soft in the shower which is something I was accustomed to from 3-5 minute conditioning treatments I'd tried. After using it faithfully for a few days, it completely changed the entire texture and health of my hair. Where I used to HAVE to wash it every other day and sometimes even then it was greasy, now my hair is silky soft all the time, even after sleeping, tousling it, or going three days between washes, and it's not as greasy as before. A little dry shampoo and I'm good for another day! My typical routine consists of washing and conditioning then putting a heat protecting treatment on it before blowing it out and straightening it each morning. It's soft, touchable, shiny, and there are barely any flyaways. The split ends are completely healed and it's just completely changed everything! I couldn't say enough good things about these products. They're worth EVERY PENNY! I will continue to be a Briogeo customer for life! I highly recommend you take a chance and give them a try!
Most Helpful Critical Review Not sure if I would get this again I received a sample of some Briogeo product in one one of my monthly beauty boxes. I really liked this sample and was excited to try the product. When I finally decided that I would spend the money on 8oz bottles I have to say I'm more disappointed than anything. The shampoo is quite thin. My scalp tends to feel oily after day 2 of not washing. The paraben free, silicone free, etc. shampoos are horrible at getting my clean on the first wash. Usually the 2nd wash will lather a lot more but it takes Briogeo about 4 times to finally lather and my hair doesn't have that "clean" feeling like I have with some other shampoos. I may try another Briogeo product but not the frizz free one.

So I have fine, slightly wavy hair that also tends to get pretty frizzy. I have been trying a lot of different shampoo & conditioner brands lately to find the best fit for me (including Pureology, Biolage, Kristin Ess, Redken) and this shampoo seriously blows all of those out of the water. Yes, the consistency of this shampoo is very silky and slightly runny so you do have to use more of it to lather, but it seriously works wonders on my hair! I will continue to use this for sure
Farwell Frizz? more like Hello Frizz 3

I have long curly thick hair that's usually somewhat frizzy but nothing out of control. Whenever I use this my Frizz is out of control and my hair feels super dry and rough. The consistency is also very watery.
Worst Anti-Frizz Shampoo for Desi Hair 2
Sue from New Jersey
I oil my hair before every wash and I shampoo twice to make sure I get everything out. I have never had an issue getting the oil out with other shampoos. However, this shampoo STILL leaves my hair greasy and I know it isn't because of the hair oil I use. The back of my head looks oily after every wash with this shampoo. On top of that, my hair is so frizzy - my new hairs are sticking up and out, and my other hairs are so poofy.
I don't think I will be buying this product again. 1

The store manager recommended this product for me. Check the bottles before you buy. Mine were not full. The consistency is milk like. Not what I expected. I won't buy again.
Not a fan 1

Tried this shampoo and the conditioner. I have thinner curly hair but straighten it at times and I didn't like how this shampoo was so watery and smelled awful. Previously used Redken All Soft and thought I'd try something different. Redken was better. Decided to try a cheaper shampoo after this, Kristin Ess Signature and LOVE IT!
Not for me 2

I have straight and thick hair, the shampoo and conditioner leave it dry and hard to brush out.
Used to be rosarco. I hope they never discontinue 5

I have fine hair and a super sensitive scalp. I used to use this religiously. It never irritated my scalp and it made my hair look full and shiny. And my hair was easy to manage. I decided to go super crunchy, and tried andalou shampoos. I used andalou for a year straight, and it dried out my hair. So I then tried oribe (BURNED my scalp), amika, verb, r+co, ouai, so many brands, mostly with poor results. I went back to andalou, my hair continued to get drier, my scalp which was so healthy and not painful anymore also got so dry and irritated. My hair started to fall. I thought I was balding. I looked back on pictures from 2 years ago and couldn't believe my hair density then compared to now. I remembered I was using Brigeo from the frizz line (it was Rosarco back then, but same formula). After just 1 shampoo, my hair was shiny and looking denser. I have baby hairs now all along my scalp so either the damage from the andalou is growing back or that's the breakage caused by andalou, not sure. I just know I continue to see my hair get better by the day.
Anyway between the painful scalp, dry scalp and hair fall I had when trying other shampoos, I will never switch from this again! I hope they never discontinue it.

This shampoo left my hair feeling greasy, and dirty. I wish I wish I had never bought it.

Fights my frizz 5
Sammybae from San Jose, CA
I like this product because it leaves my hair shiny and doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down. It fights the frizziness I've been dealing with and smells amazing!! It doesn't lather as well as other shampoos but the trick is the shampoo, condition, then shampoo again it lathers much better :)

Left my hair even frizzier than normal! 1
Meg from Arkansas
I tried this product along with the conditioner and leave in treatment for 30 days. I have naturally thick, coarse and frizzy hair that using this product made my hair twice as frizzy! I hoped this product would work for me but unfortunately it left my hair worse than what I started with.
Wow!! LOVE BRIOGEO 5
Makeupgeek from Dallas Texas
I actually noticed a difference in my hair! My hair is so frizzy since I was a small child and I kid you not this took my frizz away the first time I washed my hair with. The only thing is ULTA needs to sell the big size in store or get better at packing orders they send out to their customers, otherwise LOVE this lien
Got rid of my frizzies 5
Marg from Rockwall, TX
This product, along with the conditioner and leave in conditioner smoothed my fine frizz-prone hair. It also left it feeling very soft, but not weighed down. The shampoo does not foam very much. That is my only con as you need to use a good amount to make your hair feel "clean."
hair still frizzy! 1

I wanted to like this but I don't because my hair is left frizzy and my scalp is itchy and flaky. I wish I had tried a sample before committing to the jumbo size. Don't buy this if you have a drier scalp!
My new go to! 5
Amber from Ohio
I have used the same shampoo and conditioners for years. Just recently my hair has been really frizzy, and I haven't been able to get it under control. Also, my hair would only last a day or two before I had to wash it. I'm so glad I found briogeo because it makes my hair feel so soft and healthy! Also I'm on day three hair and no frizz! It feels like I just washed it! I would definitely recommend!!
Shocking 5
Jinx from Burlingame, CA
My hair has been dyed for 35 years and recently its thinning and frizzy no matter what I put on it (thanks COVID stress) I use Redken, Pureology, all the high end products. But THIS IS AMAZING! I don't need to load up on oils and silicones after my hair dries! It looks BIG and PERFECT even air dried! I probably sound like a bot and I feel stupid raving about a hair product but its flippin' amazing and not tested on animals too (thank you!) I do wish the shampoo was a little thicker, but I'll get used to it. Its amazing. And I LOVE supporting a company that was founded and run by a woman of color. Let's have more of that in the world please.
WARNING - Rethink before you buy 1

Let me start off with some background. I have hip length hair, naturally kind of straight/wavy. I use zero products in my hair, not even heat protectant (because I don't use heat tools). I always let my hair dry naturally, and never use heat. My hair is very healthy, never colored either. I started to use this shampoo & conditioner + leave in conditioner set about 3 months ago. The first month was great, I noticed less overall frizz. The second month came around and my hair started to be very dull and heavy feeling. No body at all. THIRD month rolled around and my looked so damaged and dry, plus sticky and waxy. I hadn't changed anything in my hair routine except switch from Calia Natural shampoo & conditioner to Briogeo. What a mistake that was!! As you can see in the photos, my hair had so much waxy buildup in it from Briogeo it was unbearable. I stopped using this product right away and started using a clarifying shampoo from Aveda and also apple cider vinegar rinses twice a week. My hair is finally back to it's pre-Briogeo state. I DO NOT recommend this product at all. Beware! Like I said, I NEVER use products on my hair, and I filter my shower water. So this was definitely caused by the shampoo & conditioner + leave in.

Product did not reduce frizz, seemed to make it worse. Product also left my hair feeling dry and stiff.
Love it! 5

This, paired with the leave in Farewell Frizz conditioner spray .... dynamic duo!
I have fine hair but 4

I have fine hair but lots of it and this doesn't leave me with weighted down greasy hair, but silky smooth fluffy hair. It smells really nice and has a good larger to it. I would recommend this shampoo if you have drier hair and need some moisture

This is a great shampoo. I use it when my scalp feels itchy or if my curls need a refresh.
High quality product and feeds 5
katieriddoch97 from United Kingdom
High quality product and feeds hair with nutrients. I have thick oilyish hair and it keeps my hair clean for over a week if need be! Love the fresh citrus scent. Only con is it's not very foaming but you get used to it. 100% a new holy grail 💕

I love this shampoo. It 5

I love this shampoo. It doesn't lather like most shampoos but it definitely leaves my hair feeling really clean. This is my new favorite shampoo.
