First, I've used this for like 15 yrs and really like it. When my hair was long & highlighted, I used it weekly. Now my hair is chin length and not colored so I only use 1-2 times a month. But here's my tip, unscrew the top a little, squeeze the sides of the bottle in, & screw the top back on with the sides squeezed. It gives you a better grip in the shower.
