Begin at the inner corner of the eye along the lash line and work outwards. Position brush tip close to the lash roots and in a gentle, fluid movement apply color along the natural curve of your lash line.

Definitely love this product! This was the first liquid eye liner I ever tried, Its so easy to use! I'm just a bit disappointed to see that elf is beginning to raise up the prices on their essentials products.

New formula?
I had been using this eyeliner for probably 10+ years and always loved it. Easy to control and make sharp lines with. I stopped wearing most makeup for a couple months and when i went to use it again it dried patchy and weird. So i went out and bought a whole new one and same thing happened. You definitely need AT LEAST 2 coats and i just dont have time to be doing all that. Im assuming they changed the formula, i never had this issue before ):
