Gentle, high-quality, unscented, targets acne

*I received this product for free and tried it for myself. All of my opinions honest and my own. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo 4% Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser is a total game-changer for anyone seeking a good Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser. It is comparable to the viral "Panoxyl," which is also a Benzoyl Per...

Sits heavy on the skin

I really wanted this cleanser to work. It was my understanding that this cleanser was a "replacement" for the Step-3 Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment cream for the Effaclar line. I really do wish that La Roche Posay would reformulate that cream. The original 3 step system was perfect for my skin and n...

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is very effective for my occasional acne breakouts. I have a random. It does not irritate my skin, even though I don't have sensitive skin. It does not leave my skin dry or stripped. It has a neutral smell.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is actually a pretty nice product. I do normally use benzyl peroxide. The one I use was 10% and this one's 4% but it does have other active ingredients that make it really nice. I used this when I am experiencing breakouts and it works pretty well within like three days to completely clear the breakout. I would recommend.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Got this NEW La Roche Posay effaclar duo acne cleanser and I looove it! Honestly, I didn't expect it's gonna be such a good product! I've been using this for a week now and I feel I will order more, my skin is shiny and smooth. No scent at all and watery consistency makes it just perfect! 👏🏻

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] What are great acne cleanser! I struggle with acne on my face even in my mid 20s and this is such a easy fix! It foams really well and doesn't have an odd smell to it and even though I have sensitive skin, it still works effectively!

Not for sensitive skin

Although it says it is good for sensitive skin, I would disagree. I used this three nights in a row and here I am with a rash and itchiness on my face and neck. Same thing happened to me with the Murad AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser, atleast this one wasn't as pricey.
