How To Use

To open the product, remove the cap and insert the opposite side of the cap into the foil. Push down on the cap and twist until the foil is punctured.

Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face. Do not use more than one time a day. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results, but may worsen skin irritation. During the early weeks of use, your acne may appear to worsen before it improves (this is normal); continue use as directed, unless you get irritation that becomes severe. Irritation is more likely to occur in the first few weeks of use or if using more than one topical acne medication at a time but irritation usually lessens with continued use of this product. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results. It may take up to 3 months of once daily use to see results. For further instructions, refer to the Drug Facts on the packaging.

Precautions: Suitable for children 12 years and up. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a doctor before use.

Kind of works

I bought this product because I have acne scars that kind of just popped up one day, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out where they came from, as I have clear skin. So I decided to try this brand because of how much dermatologists praise it. I did some research and I ended up with the Effac...

I've used both prescription and non-prescription, and this one is by far the best. I use it mostly on the T zone and a tiny bit goes a long way.

Do your research before using this product!!

I had to go through a lot of trial and error while using this product because i was unfamiliar with retinol. I think companies that sell these kinds of products where you're not able to mix certain things together SHOULD BE ON LABEL. I burned my skin many times because i was using the incorrect face wash and moisturizer with it. Granted it does help with acne in my case but its really harsh on your skin. Im still only 2 weeks in and it says you should use for 3 months before you see the full results so thats what i will do. I paired this with the cerave hydrating face wash and moisturing cream and that seems to work fine with it. Theres no way around using some sort of moisturizer because of how DRY and flakey your skin will get. Im a little surprised this isnt a prescription type of medication for skin because this can be intense. Anyway, dont make the same mistakes i did and fully research on this product and figure out what other products and ingredients you can use with it to not irritate your skin!!!

Effaclar Adapalene Gel 0.1% is a game-changer for acne-prone skin. Its topical retinoid formula swiftly targets stubborn blemishes, delivering visible results. With consistent use, pores minimize, and skin texture improves. While initial dryness may occur, it fades as skin adjusts. Overall, an effective ally in the battle against acne, offering clearer, smoother skin.

i randomly broke out a few months ago and could barely even look at my face, because i had clear skin basically all my life and was so confused. i got this product after seeing dermatologist's reccomend it and i have not lived to regret it. make sure if you're using it to do the sandwich method and make sure while you use it, youre not using it with any serums that dont go well with it, and of course if youre skin is sensitive, start slow! 🤍🤍

I bought an acne cream and their products hurt me. My face is all red. It burns a lot. It seems like my face is burned. Tomorrow I will have to go to the doctor because of everything that happened to me. Even my neck is irritated.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
