The NEW FORMULA is an absolute MESS. It is STICKY on my skin and does NOT DRY. New formula is NOT LONG LASTING, oils seep through the foundation after HOUR 3! The OLD FORMULA WAS MY RIDE OR DIE. Do NOT BUY the new formula if you were a loyal customer to the OG double wear. Oily girls are left HIGH AND DRY YET AGAIN. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in Estée Lauder. NOT OKAY!
New Formula is TERRIBLE
I loved the original formula. Got so many compliments. Lasted all day / all night. Literally "stayed in place" & with the new formula it just comes right off. It like doesnt fully dry and feels soooo sticky. I hate everything about the new formula. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OG FORMULA ESTÈE LAUDER.
New formula
Must be a new formula, but this isnt it. I've been using this for years. Its the only foundation that would hold up through my work day and my evening workout. By noon its blochy.
oooof....bad decision EL
Can't believe EL ruined the best foundation that has ever existed on this planet (it was the #1 best selling foundation, ever.) And went to THIS, the new formula, which is not half as good as the OG DW was. The new formula is more tacky & sticky upon application, feels like it never dries (& transfers all day becuz of it) although when you're putting it on it is much runnier, so you use a lot more product (price issue here; as it takes twice as much product to get the same level of coverage.) The OG formula stayed put ALLL day long, was not so matte it was drying, it covered fully+, did not transfer, or feel sticky/oily all day long, like this new formula does. (I didn't even set the OG DW; this new one I have to or it's a fail.) The shades seem different as well, I found it to be lighter in 2c3 Fresco. Dangit, we were all SOOO happy, for SOOOO long, & surely EL made bank on us. Boy, are they gonna miss that cash cow!! Unbelievable that they had to re-formulate something that was already utter perfection, into something that is now average drug store quality (closest I can think of is Maybelline's SuperStay Lumi-Matte foundation.) DW is not worth the hi price point anymore. Previously, I would've paid double for the OG DW formulation, as it was beyond bliss. ***BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA, or lose a TON of lifelong customers & sooo much cash. TYIA!!*** (I've moved on to Tarte's Face Tape & Nars Light Reflecting foundations. Biiii DW, i miss u SOOO much!!!)
