Changing the formula was a terrible decision. The new formula is sticky and feels tacky the entire day. I will not be continuing to use or purchase from EL as I'd rather change the foundation brand instead of purchasing new products to make this foundation work. You truly missed the mark with this new formula. It dries horribly and adding more layers just makes it even more sticky. Just a gross product now.

I have worn double wear for at least a decade in the color, 1N1. I purchased the new formula not knowing it had changed, and it's definitely different in the worst way! I have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea and break out very easily. Estée Lauder DW was the only foundation I could handle w/out a break out and also providing good coverage. Something in the new formula is causing me to break out and my skin is angry! Also, the color is WAY off… I look orange! I'm so embarrassed at work and have to explain the issue! This is the only "splurge" along with the EL cleanser due to my skin issues. I'm devastated and out a lot of money to me. I'm not sure what to do. Please help me Estée Lauder, I have been a loyal customer for over a decade and have suggested to many people to use your products.

In the original formula I have wore 1N2 for 20 years. This new formula starts out looking ok but then turns darker on my face as the day goes on. I tried 1W0 in the new formula, and it turned very yellow on me. I tried 1N0 in the new formula hoping that would give me the right color, but that one was too light-looked white. 1N1 turns orangish but lighter than 1N2. The new formula has a dewy look and feel to it. It does not dry down for me, my hair sticks to my face constantly with it on, and it pulls my mascara off to give me raccoon eyes. I never had these issues with the original formula. If I rub my face the new formula comes off and my face looks blotchy. I am not a fan of the new formula and can't find one that doesn't oxidize into another color. I really wanted to like the new formula but I do not. I really wish they'd rename this one and bring back the original formula Double Wear.
New formula is TERRIBLE
Ive been using Este Lauders double wear foundation for years. Loved the coverage, didnt feel cakey at all. This new formula is awful. It goes on smooth, but its very sticky all day long, feels super cakey, and if you touch your face it literally rubs off. Very disappointing!

The NEW FORMULA is an absolute MESS. It is STICKY on my skin and does NOT DRY. New formula is NOT LONG LASTING, oils seep through the foundation after HOUR 3! The OLD FORMULA WAS MY RIDE OR DIE. Do NOT BUY the new formula if you were a loyal customer to the OG double wear. Oily girls are left HIGH AND DRY YET AGAIN. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in Estée Lauder. NOT OKAY!
