The product has a typical chemical fragrance-free 'scent', maybe even stronger than other similar products, and that is ok if you don't want scents. However, it leaves hair greasy and crunchy, without particular curl definition; maybe because it's a thicker cream. I couldn't make it work for my wavy hair and I forwarded it, no plans to buy it again.
