I definitely wouldn't call this a gel. It has a very runny, water like consistency. This leads to product waste if you aren't careful and it's too expensive for that. Hair Type Wavy Hair
Works really well without weighing down my curls or making my hair feel dirty-does not make me wanting to run to the sink to wash it out. My hair is fine, so heavy products don't work well for me. I didn't find this to be overly heavy and a little went a long way for soft, manageable curls!
very minimal hold
this gel is just not for me, it has very minimal hold & living in south florida i need a good hold to my hair because of the humidity. i dont feel like it did much for my hair.
Too soft
This gel has zero hold. I don't find it to work well for curly hair. I get the label said it has no crunch, but crunch can be a good thing when you scrunch out the cast once it dries and you actually get hold and definition. This just left me with frizzy hair. Won't be buying this again.

The Amika Curl Corps Enhancing Gel is one of those products that just gets it right. It gives me hold without that stiff, crunchy feel.
