How To Use

After your shower, divide wet hair into sections, rake and smooth through until all strands are coated. Try not to use too much product at first as you need to realize how thirsty your curls are. Do not rinse out. Proceed with your preferred styling method, then diffuse or air dry to reveal soft, hydrated curls.

Best Line I've Tried So Far!!

I am 6 months in to going natural and have easily spent 1K in products so far. This line blew me away!!! The smell is divine!! Very light and not too overwhelming. It's very lightweight yet hydrating on my hair which is important to me since I have LP hair. It's line is fabulous!! I can't say enoug...

I don't get why this is getting such good reviews. I got both this and the CurlSmith Souffle. It doesn't do anything for my 3B curly hair. After seeing the amazing results people were posting online, I wanted to try this (have been using DevaCurl for over a decade). - You have to use a LOT of produ...

A little extra effort makes the difference…

Curlsmith gifted me a free sample of this conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. This cream is rather rich, but you need very little product, so it doesn't weigh down the hair. I'd start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. I tried it on two different textures, 3C and 4C, both shoulder length. I got the best results using a nickel-sized and quarter-sized amount, respectively. It makes both curls and coils look healthy, shiny, and hydrated. It doesn't weigh hair down, and I love, most of all, that it doesn't leave hair feeling soft, not crunchy. It looks fabulous and actually feels like hair! I have to note that following the directions is crucial for my desired results, especially on coily hair. I comb it out completely before washing, and constantly rake my fingers through it while washing and conditioning to keep it detangled Once the Oil-In Cream is raked through soaking wet hair, I use the recommended praying hands method to cover the strands as best I can, but I also gently tug as I go to elongate the coils. I find this helps immensely with shrinkage. Tie it up and fluff it in the morning and it's good for 2-3 days without reapplication, unless you feel like a little additional moisture. If you wash weekly, it doesn't leave hair a sticky, greasy mess, either. Overall, while using this cream takes a few extra minutes of care, the results are well worth the effort. Also, considering the amount needed even on thick hair, this jar holds a good amount of product. This is my first experience with the Curlsmith brand, and I'm delighted that it does what it says. I plan to pick up a jar for a family member and a couple other things I have my eye on when I shop later this week.

I like the regular jar of this stuff. But I noticed my ends look all dried up so I thought I would try the Oil one. It cured the dry ends but didn't keep the curls in my hair.I would recommend for dry hair but not if you want curls too.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

wanted to love this

I wanted to love this so much. I have dense medium to coarse normal porosity 2c-3a hair that usually does very well with moisture and oils. No matter how little or how much of this product I use, it causes my hair gel to not form a cast and leaves my hair very frizzy. I tried it with a couple of gels and with mousse, but this product is just not working for my hair unfortunately.
