What I've been searching for
I've long been looking for a face sunscreen that 1) doesn't break me out, 2) doesn't make my other skincare pill into gross little globs when applied, and 3) has a good amount of spf to protect my very pale skin. This is the first I've found that checks all those boxes, with the added benefit of being a makeup primer (I hadn't used one before and it makes a difference, and is a good reminder to apply it). Since it's clear it doesn't give you any white cast and when applied to my scalp where my hair parts it doesn't make it look greasy. Doesn't feel greasy on your skin either, it feels "matte" like a primer. No breakouts and no pilling were at the core of my sunscreen hunt, and I think the slightly higher price than the Neutrogena/CeraVe range I'd been struggling with using is well worth it since my skin didn't like those at all, and sunscreen isn't very effective if you never want to use it! I've been doing a fair amount of gardening in full sun this summer and I don't think my face has gotten tanned at all (still using the concealer shade I bought in the winter) and I certainly haven't burned. Nothing to do with how it performs, but the aesthetic retro packaging is so very cute too!

Had High Hopes
I enjoy the Vacation brand and was excited to try this product after an extensive search for a new daily sunscreen with a higher SPF than my current one. I really liked the texture and application feel, as well as the lack of scent. However, after several hours, I started developing a rash and by the time I had a chance to wash my face, my eyes were swelling shut and I had hives all over my face, in addition to the rash. I would not normally consider my skin to be "sensitive," but obviously there was something in this that didn't agree with my skin.
