- Start with a clean, dry face. Put on mask and adjust straps for comfort.
- Turn on the mask by pressing and holding the remote's center dial.
- Select a routine and press "Start." Adjust InstaChill with the remote's chill button.
- After the session, remove the mask. It will power down automatically.
- Clean the mask with a cloth slightly dampened with water.

I had been considering a light therapy mask for a while. I saved up points and used coupons and made the splurge. The cooling pads are so nice, its calming, effective and I already see a difference in my skin. The fans are audible, but not excessive-you can barely hear them if you take the mask off. I saw reviews about the lights being too much for eyes. I have lighter, sensitive eyes and have no issues. I use this mask while I do my morning sunlight therapy. If you are considering, just do it!

Don't buy into the negative hype
I was going back and forth between this therabody glo mask and ultimately chose this one becuase shark products are pretty durable. I do usually do 2 cycles per use every other day and have a noticeable difference in less than a week, however I have been doing extra TLC with my skin like I do when I introduce any new skincare into my regime. The undereye cooling is hit or miss; some days its the best thing ever other days I dont use it. If you are innovative and have some sort of eye protection (thinking tanning bed)….you can get the red light around the eye area and ill leave it at that! Regarding the weight, yes it is heavy like all hard shell mask so if thats a deal break this isnt for you. I was worried about brusing or the weight of the cooling system under my eyes the first time I used it felt like too much. It should not be, so if you ferl that weight, ADJUST THE STRAPS. All of them while its on your face. It may take a minute but its a night and day difference. I am a darker skinned woman, which was part of the reason I went with this mask over the therabody glow. I will never need to use the blue light feature unless I have cystic acne and even then its iffy cause I dont want to risk more hyper pigmentation. So if that is a concern for you I would recommend this mask. All in all im very happy with my purchase, and would recommend to friends
