    How To Use

Saturate hair with water and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.

    Pro Tips:

    • Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends.
    • Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen.
    • Silver, silver blue, light pink and platinum are geared towards the light blondes.
    • The silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, platinum will brighten blonde hair, silver blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

Precautions: This product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use. This product must not be used for dying the eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse immediately with water if eye contact occurs. Direct dyes should not be removed with ammonia/peroxide.

    Q
If I use the auburn one on my natural red hair will it do anything?? my hair is probably a natural auburn color as it is but in summer it lightens it up and makes it more of a strawberyy blonde and my roots that comes in makes it literally look like i color my hair.
    Asked by Taylor
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for your question! Since your hair is naturally auburn and tends to lighten to more of a strawberry blonde in the summer, Keracolor Clenditioner in Auburn can definitely have a subtle effect — especially in the lighter areas. Here’s what to expect: On your lighter, sun-lightened sections (like the strawberry blonde parts), the Auburn Clenditioner will deposit more noticeable pigment, likely deepening the color and adding richer red/auburn tones. On your darker natural roots or deeper auburn areas, it may not make a dramatic change but can enhance shine and slightly intensify your natural color. Because the color is buildable, using it a few times will gradually even out the tones and help blend your roots and ends more smoothly, potentially reducing that "grown-out" look you mentioned. It’s a great, non-damaging way to refresh your color without fully dyeing your hair — and it washes out over time, so there’s no long-term commitment. We do recommend doing a strand test first to see how the color takes on your specific hair — everyone’s hair porosity and undertones are a little different! Best wishes! Thanks for reaching out!Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
If I'm very light blonde haired will the red conditioner be left on longer to get it more of a cherry red color or how can I use this product to achieve a darker cherry red color on my very light blonde hair instead of bright red?
    Asked by Kendall
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out — that’s a great question! Everyone’s definition of cherry red can vary, so I’ll do my best to guide you without seeing a reference photo. For the look you’re going for, I’d recommend mixing Merlot with either Cinnamon or Red to create a deeper cherry red tone. You can experiment with the ratio depending on how dark or bright you’d like the result. We recommend doing a strand test first to fine-tune the timing and formula before applying all over because this will be a drastic look from what you are currently. Try 1 pump of each for a balanced tone, Or 2 pumps of Merlot with 1 pump of Red or Cinnamon for a richer, deeper result. Applying to dry hair and leaving it on longer will give bolder, vibrant, deep results, and doing multiple applications if needed — the color is buildable, so it will deepen with each use. I hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Would this be a good product to refresh a similar hair color to this? Or would it not stay how I'm wanting it to?

    Q
How long does the color last
    Asked by Melissa
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
It all depends on how often you use it and how often you wash your hair. The more frequently you apply the Keracolor Clenditioner, the more vibrant and rich the color becomes over time. Each application builds on the last, helping you gradually achieve the depth and tone you're aiming for. These colors are also designed to help maintain your salon color between services, keeping it looking fresh and vibrant for longer. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Will the purple show on graying medium brown hair?
    Asked by Traci
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thank you for reaching out with a great question! Color+ Conditioners aren't specifically formulated for gray coverage. Some people may notice a slight tonal change, while others may not see much of a difference at all. Everyone's hair is unique, and many variables—like hair texture, porosity, and the percentage of gray—can impact the results. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Could you say it's a fantasy tone? That is, I didn't even paint my natural hair, only what I have bleached?
    Asked by Alexia
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out! Sure, you could say that—it's a fantasy tone. They're temporary pigments that enhance the hair color while also leaving it feeling conditioned, healthy, and shiny. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I can use it and I wouldn't have problems with discoloration afterwards, I wouldn't want it to have permanent pigments
    Asked by Ale
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great question! No, our Color+ Clenditioners do not contain permanent pigments. They’re designed to fade gradually over time, depending on how often they’re used and the condition of the hair. I hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q

    Asked by Nana

I have 100% grey hair that has never been dyed. I want my hair to be brunette again. Will the "Color + Conditioner" do this? Is there a better product? My hair is somewhat brittle.

Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great question! We don’t recommend using our Color+ Clenditioners for grey coverage, as they are not formulated for that purpose. These products are designed to enhance tone and add temporary color, but they will not provide full coverage for grey hair. I hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

    Q
So the silver blue will correct more brassy/orange tones in blonde/strawberry blonde. But also keeping it off the blonde parts to not go greenish? It doesnt turn the brassy color silver does it, or blue? I do use the plantium but its just not toning the more brassy parts.
    Asked by Kh
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thank you for reaching out — great question! We always recommend consulting with your stylist, as they can assess your hair in person and give the most accurate advice. Doing a test strand is a great idea, as it allows you to watch the processing and determine the right timing. The longer the product is left on, the more it will absorb into the hair. Also, if you have blonde highlights that you don’t want toned, be sure to avoid including them in the application — toner can affect them if they’re processed along with the rest. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I just got my hair colored today. It's mostly blonde but has copper / red highlights in it. Will this "mess up" my blonde hair?
    Asked by Blonde
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thank you so much for your question — we really appreciate you reaching out! We don’t recommend using our products on highlighted hair, as the color may be absorbed by the lighter strands. I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Will this product stick to my grey strands?
    Asked by G
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE

    Q
My hair is white, with a little brassiness I have the sliver color to get it a little darker will it work? Thanks
    Asked by Mick
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great question! Silver is great for toning out orange/brassiness. If you feel like your hair is more yellow or golden in tones, you could try the Platnium+ clenditioner. Both options are for toning only. They will not darken or add depth to your hair. I hope this helps. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q

Is the shade espresso cool toned
    Asked by Tay
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great Question! The Mocha is more of a neutral to cool tone while the Espresso is more of a warm tone. Espresso is darker and richer and has a longer fade out. Hope this helps! :)Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Will any of these colors stain my blonde hair or will they all wash out completely ? Thank you
    Asked by mandama
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great Question! Our Color + Clenditioners contain semi-permanent direct dye pigments and will gradually fade out from hair. The amount of time the product will last in hair is dependent on the condition and porosity of the hair, and the intensity of the shade. Lighter colors tend to fade out faster, like Light Pink, Rose Gold and Mint. The more stubborn shades are the Blues, Espresso, Onyx, Purples, and Teals which tend to stay in hair the longest. If your hair is damaged and very processed, you may see a much longer fade out process. For the more stubborn shades, a direct dye remover may be needed. Any time you are doing a drastic color change, it’s best to consult with a salon professional. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I have medium brown hair. I went to the salon for highlights and there are way too many and looks like my hair is solid blonde, even orange in some spots. Will the mocha get rid of the blonde and orange?
    Asked by Jennifer
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Great Questions! The mocha is best used to enhance hair that is medium blonde or a light brown and would not be a great option to use on highlighted hair or to cover up highlights. You could use the platinum to cool down the blonde tones, but it would not cover up the blondes. Hope this helps! :)Was this answer helpful to you

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

    Silver Blue Is Not Good

I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

I've used the Keracolor purple (in vivid, pastel, and made for brunette) for five years. My hair is mostly silver now with a little brunette left and keracolor colors it perfectly. For silver or gray people like me wondering if Kerakolor would work on you: I prefer to use the product just enough to get a blending of silver and purple. I'm not sure how it would perform if I wanted all-over purple, but for my purposes, it's perfect.

    I literally cried

    By CK

I am a natural redhead; but thanks to hormones and becoming a mom, my once vibrant natural copper has turned into more of an auburn. I figured trying this wouldn't hurt anything because there was no bleach involved and it washes out eventually. I just used it (on dry, unwashed hair) and it added such a beautiful copper richness back to my hair. I feel like myself again. Blown away.

Oh, yes. I most certainly love this product. It does a terrific job keeping my hair red. And even though I have to get it dyed that pretty maraschino cherry🍒red color every 8 to 9 weeks, still, I can at count on this to keep it red afterwards.
