- Official Answer By Murad - Sampling + BEKnowing the skin challenges, I would have your son use the Clarifying Cream Cleanser. It has salicylic acid as well but also has additional hydration. i have struggled with cystic hormonal acne since middle school, im a sophomore in college. i have tried countless amounts of face washes for consistent anounts of time, but nothing has truly worked for me. my breakouts are mostly on my chin and cheeks, which flare up mainly around my period. i bought this product on a whim, and i couldnt be happier that i did. my face didnt purge terribly, but it took time for me to notice a difference (of course). i still have scarring to clear up, but thats a work in progress. this product feels so incredibly refreshing on my face and i feel so clean after using it. i would recommend this cleanser over and over again!
