Q
How can I check expiry date of Clinique city block sheer 25 spf as it is not mentioned on the bottle?
Asked by Priyanka
Official Answer By Clinique US
Thanks for your question! Please reference the Period after Opening symbol on the package, which resembles a tuna fish can, and has a number and an "m" representing "months after opening." For example (24M) means that you should replace this product within (24 months) after first opening provided the product has been stored under normal conditions and not exposed to extreme temperatures. Was this answer helpful to you

Understand the Product

A lot of these reviews are complaining about the tint, and saying this product doesn't absorb into the skin, but "sits on top of it." First, that's exactly what it's supposed to do. The reason this product is called City "Block" is that it is a true sunblock, a physical barrier between your skin and...

Not my fave

City Block Sheer is just not one of my favorite products. And I have LOVED Clinique since high school. I wanted to like it since it is oil-free, but it flakes if you rub it in too much. I guess it's supposed to rest on surface of skin, but with make-up and then powder on top, especially with moistur...

This is a wonderful product. Very sheer, not greasy and doesn't clog my pores. I am 55 and still have occasional issues with acne. This is the first sunscreen I have ever used on my face that doesn't feel like a heavy mask. I think the price is worth it. I very much recommend!

Through the years, I've tried several tinted moisturizers with SPF. I always return to this one for the light coverage, kindness to my skin (no irritation), no odor, and price. It goes on smoothly, doesn't dry my skin, and never appears cakey. It doesn't crease into my fine lines. I apply it after the 3-step routine. I appreciate how it blends into my skin and does not look like I'm wearing any makeup. I don't use foundation and prefer a natural look. This does exactly what I want it to do.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I have used this for 30 years. Have roseaca and hyper- sensitive skin and it's the ONLY sunscreen I can use on my face! At one point it was not available ( thought it was discontinued as many of their classic products are are some point) and was really bummed. But they finally brought back ( it's the classic formula, not the orange tube which burned my skin ). I always make sure to stock plenty in case they decide to discontinue ( I love Clinique but you can't always trust that they won't dc great products- remember, Clinique, that your a skin care line for sensitive skin and when you take away good and simple products and reformulate adding an ingredient list as long as the box, many of your hyper sensitive folks are out of luck!) Thank you for making this product.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
