I noticed that Clinique city block broad spectrum is back in stock but the wording on the bottle looks different. Is this the same product as in the past? I do not see the wording broad spectrum on the bottle. Thank you,

Q
How can I check expiry date of Clinique city block sheer 25 spf as it is not mentioned on the bottle?
Asked by Priyanka
Official Answer By Clinique US
Thanks for your question! Please reference the Period after Opening symbol on the package, which resembles a tuna fish can, and has a number and an "m" representing "months after opening." For example (24M) means that you should replace this product within (24 months) after first opening provided the product has been stored under normal conditions and not exposed to extreme temperatures. Was this answer helpful to you

My every day tinted sunscreen

I'm in a humid area so I stopped wearing foundation every day. Now I just use this. I love that it's mineral-based (the higher SPF one is NOT, by the way!) because that means it works to defend from the sun more quickly and you can just throw it on while running out the door (it's also more environm...

Too greasy!Causes redness!

I used to love this product, but either the formula or my skin has changed since then. Either way, this too greasy for my combination oily skin type. It slides around under makeup, and I burn in the sun even if I apply it liberally. Oddly enough for Clinique, there's something in it that causes redn...

Love this from Clinique!

I have been using this sheer sunscreen for many years. I love it because it is light enough to wear under make-up, or it has a light tint so I can wear it without make-up because it smooths my complexion. The tint matches my skin tone well. Just add a little blush, brows and liner…out the door! I highly recommend trying it.

Orange face

Submitted 3 years ago

By Moonshadow98

I am unable to use this as my face is not orange. This should work well for people with an orange skin tone. If you are white like me, don't bother trying it. Not sure why Clinique keeps on changing or discontinuing their good products. It is truly exasperating as I can not wear creams/moisturizer/sunscreens with perfume in it. So I am mostly stuck with Clinique.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Horrible

I used City Block SPF 40 forever and they discontinued it. The review for the new 50 that took its placed were all negative so I decided to try the 25. OMG HORRIBLE!! Never in all the years that I used the 40 did it ball up. When I say the 25 balled up it was terrible. I had patches all over my face where I had gotten hot. Will not purchase again. Not sure why Cosmetic Companies have to change or discontinue a good item. Can't leave well enough alone. So disappointed

I love this product, but please.....

Submitted 3 years ago

By Fran

From Saint Louis MO

I love this product because I am allergic to sunscreen and it is one of the few that I am not allergic to. But I must join in with those that want the SPF 40 back! PLEASE bring SPF 40 back! I am fair skinned and need the extra protection of the SPF 40.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Great

Looked great with a light dusting of foundation powder on top. It did not ever become extremely greasy looking on me even after wearing it for 12 hours. Sunscreens usually give me instant breakouts, but this did not.
