Heats up quickly, very fine steam mist.

-Would I get it again or recommend it: Yes-Why: It makes steam very quickly. The steam is a fine, hot steam and is great for both skincare, dry eyes, sinuses and headaches.Pros:-Reasonably priced, a good value for the price.-High quality, well made and well designed.-Steam is very fine like a fog vs... larger steam droplets. It gets your face moisturized and damp vs larger with water droplets like an older non nano style steamer.-Less risk of broken capillaries (always a risk with hot showers, hot washcloths and steaming, so don'tover-do it and those prone to broken capillaries might not want to use any form of steam) as the steam isn't as hot as the more traditional type.-Easy to use, just fill the small water tank, replace it, press a button and wait.-The water tank is easy to fill and replace and the closure on it looks like it won'tleak. It reminds me of the water tank and gasket style of a Jiffy clothing steamer.-This is more of a lighter, smaller steam for personal use up close and for a shorter session than a larger heavier steamer (which I have and the steam is finer and less hot-I like both types of steam, but for sinuses prefer this).-Unlike the larger more professional style steamers (which I love) you don'thave to use this in a vented room or bathroom, it won'tfill up your room with steam (some big steamers will) or get everything around you damp or covered with steam. The steam is fine, but It's also focused. I can use it in a bedroom and I Can'tthe larger steamers or it fills the room with steam.-You'll want to set it on a counter-top or table, etc. It stable and doesn't try to tip over or slide off.-It is standard electrical powered vs USB.-It's good for skincare.-It's also helpful (this nano steam that's warm but not too hot or too heavy steam) for dry eyes (don'tget it right in your eyes or get too close, just use it normally and at a safe distance), sinus pain and issues, and I like it for headaches (soothing warmth and steam).-You can steam not only your face and neck but your hair and I like to steam my hands. Especially where I have issues and pain from psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.-You can very carefully (use tweezers to hold it or just hold it back far enough you don'tget burnt not right in the steamer) use the steam to clean your jewelry, rings especially clean well this way (be sure your stone and metal are steam heat safe, things like pearls and opals are not).-It comes with a packet with tiny white rings for aromatherapy. You never put oils, salt or anything in the water bottle, only there. I haven't tried it but it looks like they sit in a holder near the steam output that's designed to hold them. (don'tput one in while the steamer is on, you'll get burned badly.)Cons:-Always use caution when using a steamer. don'tput your hand or face too close or touch or move it while It's hot, let it cool down.-Unlike those with taller, more direct-able steam outputs (this one is not adjustable you have to turn the machine vs the steam output) you'll have to lean into it if It's on a table or counter. Taller ones are easier to use without having to lean into them.-There was a plastic odor that was fairly strong in the water bottle, but not the steamer. It hopefully will go away, but it was very strong.-I could detect the same odor of plastic during use that was mild, but detectable and a bit unpleasant. It did seem to get a bit better the more I used it, but it was there and I really didn'tenjoy it at all. It would have been a lot better to have steam without the faint (but still detectable) plastic odor. It's not too strong or overwhelming, but it was notable and not pleasant. It may get better and go away with more use.Tips:-Never, ever pick one up during use. This style is safer than some, but I had a bad mishap when plastic cracked on a different style (not this one) made for sinus steaming and sent several tablespoons of boiling water onto my leg (first and second degree burns that could have been a lot worse).-If I hadn't picked it up and left it on the table (it was designed to be picked up, this is not designed to be picked up during use) it would have spilled on the table not my lap and leg when the plastic cracked. So please, don'tpick this up with hot water in it or during use, It's not fun to get burnt like that.
