After shampooing, wet the bar with warm water and massage it into your strands from lengths to ends, working it into a sudsy lather. Rinse and comb or detangle as usual.

I am new to bar shampoo and conditioner. I gave it a try after suddenly finding myself with a very dry, itchy, flaky scalp at 53. I have been struggling with menopausal hormonal changes and my hair/scalp didn't want to be left out. Seriously, I tried everything from Head and Shoulders to Aveda, nothing worked… until I tried castor oil! Within one wash my scalp was soothed and my dry hair was silky and soft. Plus, the smell is divine.

I started using Kitsch castor oil shampoo and conditioner about 6 months ago and my hair has been forever changed for good. My hair used to get very oily after one day post-wash, but now I can go 3-4 days inbetween washes. My hair has more volume and is softer. Highly recommend.
