Wet your hair; rub bar between hands into a rich lather or "paint" directly onto your scalp.
Massage with fingertips, then rinse & repeat as desired. After shampooing, wet the bar with warm water and massage it into your strands from lengths to ends, working it into a sudsy lather. Rinse and comb or detangle as usual.

I bought this hoping it would leave a light castor oil on my scalp. Have used the bar 4 times now and it seems to be making my scalp feel more dry iso of softer. So the jury is still out.
Feels nice, a little unimpressive with thick hair

I really have to work it into my thick hair for it to leave any note worthy result. My hair has alot of bulk and lack of layers right now so I will continue to use it but with other products like a hair mask and leave in conditioner as by itself, its not enough for the amount of hair I currently have.

I've been working my way through the line of solid hair care, and this one is my favorite. They're all great, but I've noticed serious improvement in my hair with the castor oil. I have pretty fine hair, but a lot of it, medium porosity. It's got a bit of a wave to it, and it does not like the slightest bit of humidity. My hair has been much cuter and softer lately.
