Excellent Product for the Cost
Initially, I didn't have high hopes for the NYX Buttermelt Glaze Soft Glow Skin Tint. The texture seemed a bit too tacky as I tried to apply with my fingers. A sponge worked much butter. The coverage is buildable up to a medium. It took extra coverage to see a glow, though. The application wasn't patchy; it's quite smooth. The product reminds me a bit of the Hourglass tinted moisturizer (not the new 2025 edition). The NYX is definitely a more affordable option, though I wouldn't say it's a dupe. The rest of my makeup applied nicely and the skin tinted lasted at least eight hours before I noticed fading. I do have sensitivity to sunscreen but didn't have any of my usual skin conditions that typically follow. Definitely a great product for the price!
Worth a try for lightweight coverage
I've been really enjoying the NYX Buttermelt Glaze Tint! It's super lightweight and feels like nothing on my skin, which is perfect for everyday wear. The tint blends seamlessly and gives a natural, dewy finish without feeling heavy or cakey. What I love most is that it doesn't oxidize on me like so many other products do—my shade stays true all day. Plus, the added SPF is such a bonus for keeping my skin protected. I also love how the nozzle is made—the product is liquidy and it keeps it from making a mess. It's quickly becoming my go-to for a fresh, easy look!
Grease central!
This is a VERY shiny skin tint. Glaze is a very good description because it literally made me look like a glazed donut. If that's what you're going for, you'll love this, but it was NOT for me. I love that it has SPF in it and it doesn't smell like sunscreen, but I do not like the shiny finish on this at all. Maybe if your skin is super dry, you can give it a shot, but for my combo skin, it was a no.

I didn't think I would really like this skin tint. But I love the feel, the smell and love it for days where I just want to do a more natural look. I'm trying to get away from lots of foundation. And the bonus this has sunscreen in it.

Amazing this left such a beautiful glow to my skin I didn't have to use any bronzer. The scent smelled so fruity and texture was so smooth not splotchy at all!
