After shampooing, gently massage Bust Your Brass Mask through wet hair from roots to ends. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse. Use it as a weekly intensive treatment in place of conditioner.
Keep track of your tone: if you're loving your tone, keep up your routine as is. if you notice brassiness peeking in, increase use of Bust Your Brass an additional time per week. If you are a little too cool-toned and nearing a violet tone, cut back on the Bust Your Brass routine for a week or two.

I love the mask and how my hair feels. I have been blessed with prematurely white, not gray, hair so the pigment really picks up. I really didn't want to be one of those lavender haired older ladies but alas, it happened after the first use.

I've always been a "hair girl" like obsessed but I'm sick of beauty standards & the high cost & toxicity of dye jobs so I'm growing out to my natural gray . Im almost there & this mask creates the "blur" I need & keeps my hair so healthy . I've used this brand for years & also like the blue (moisture) line.

I have fine hair, a little bit of natural silver happening with platinum highlights. I love this mask. It makes my hair feel so hydrated and soft, but doesn't make it weighted and hard to style. It deposits the perfect amount of purple tone so I don't have to be super careful not to overdo it. My hair is almost to my waist and it isn't extremely thick, I use a good sized scoop to get all my hair covered. If I were using this multiple times per week I might go through it in a little over a month, but I am only using it once a week so this will last me quite a bit. Smells amazing!

I have tried numerous purple shampoos, conditioners and masks and this is by far the best one! It removes the yellow without turning your hair purple. It deeply conditions as well!
