I was a bit worried trying a new bleach kit. But I had used Overtone color before and my hair likes it well enough so I decided to give it a shot. Once rinsed, my hair felt horrible. But this has nothing to do with the product. This is more about me not remembering how my hair feels after processing...

My daughter used this product in her hair, and it did not lighten her hair evenly at all. She had her step mother do it as she has done bleach in her child's hair before. I'm not sure what was different this time. Ultimately after my daughter applied color to her hair, she loved how everything tu...

Experienced a lot of damage with little lightening. Feel like I've had a major set back on health and integrity, taking me further away from my hair goals.

Bleaching means something smelly, Right? Not with this gentle product. The only drawback is that it should come with a little handled cup that is the right size for the amount of powder to use. for a minimum amount of water. It is easy to make additional bleach if you have longer hair. My thinning silver-gray hair only took a minimal amount. If I was going for the bleached look, I could have gone out immediately and been perfectly comfortable. However, I used my extreme blue. It worked beautifully and my hair is in better condition than it has been for years.

I really wanted to like this product. It lifted my hair a few shades, which is fine because I could always redo it. However, I unfortunately had an allergic reaction to something in the product, which really surprised me because I've used other Overtone products before. Please be careful if you have sensitive skin or easily react to anything.

Really easy to use & lightened my dark brown hair quite a bit. I wish I hadn't mixed the whole thing, I definitely didn't need all of it to cover my whole head of hair. I have pretty thin hair, medium length & probably only used about a third of it. It definitely leaves hair feeling dry but with the gloss mask after bleaching & dyeing with color, my hair felt a little better.
