I've been using this gloss as a quick refresh between salon visits, and overall it's been a really nice addition to my hair routine. The first thing I noticed was the shine — it gives my hair that glass-like, high-shine finish without making it feel greasy or stiff. My hair feels noticeably softer, ...smoother, and healthier after using it, almost like I did a deep conditioning treatment. In terms of color, it definitely helps boost vibrancy and depth in my existing shade. It evens out faded ends and makes my color look more refreshed and consistent, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I also appreciate how low-maintenance it is — it works as a conditioning treatment, doesn't take much effort, and smells pleasant. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. If you have very dark or black hair, the color deposit is pretty subtle. On my darker sections, I didn't see a dramatic color change — mostly just added shine. It also doesn't provide full gray coverage. While it may slightly blend some grays (especially with the Espresso shade), many gray hairs don't fully pick up the pigment since it's a semi-permanent gloss. Application-wise, gloves are a must. It can stain hands, skin around the hairline, and even bathroom surfaces if you're not careful. I also found better results when applying it to dry hair and leaving it on longer than the minimum suggested time. With repeated use, the color payoff improved, but a single application didn't do much for me. Some areas picked up color more than others, so working carefully section by section helps avoid patchiness. As for longevity, it fades gradually as expected, but the Espresso shade can linger longer on porous or processed hair. If you're unhappy with the result, it may take a clarifying shampoo or color remover to fully fade it out.
