As a retail beauty specialist and makeup artist who is around makeup products all day long, I have to say that I was really excited to get my hands on the PUR Beauty Bio Charged Mascara. This Vegan Mascara is formulated using 90 percent of naturally derived ingredients. The ingredients include Red Ginseng, Shea Butter, Vitamin C and Pea Protein. Together these ingredients help strengthen your natural lashes while increasing their volume. The mascara has a Biobased fiber brush that is extremely gentle on your lashes. It is formulated using Castor beans which are again beneficial for your lashes. Along with adding volume and strength to your lashes this mascara is great for the environment also. The packaging of this product is made from lightweight mono material component which ensures easy recycling. Over all this is an amazing product for your eyelashes! I highly recommend it.

I really wanted to love this PUR Mascara — the sleek packaging and the rich black pigment were promising. It definitely adds volume and makes lashes look darker and bolder with just one coat. However, on my lashes, it didn't perform as well as I hoped. It tends to clump and sticks my lashes together, which makes them look less defined. I also found it a bit tricky to layer without making a mess. Maybe this mascara works better for thicker or shorter lashes, but unfortunately, it didn't suit mine. I was very excited to try this mascara. The first few times I used it, it made my lashes very clumpy. Then I started scraping the mascara on the sides of the bottle before applying, and only applying to the underside of my lashes instead of both sides. Now I love it! It gives me beautiful volume and is very easy to come off at night, without ruining my lashes. I was given this product for my honest review.

I was excited to try out the bio charged plant powered volumizing mascara because I LOVE trying out makeup/skincare made with natural ingredients. The olive wax and shea butter in the formula help to condition and moisturize your eyelashes. The mascara brush is also bio based and made of castor oil. I do wish this mascara was waterproof as it was flaking a few hours after wearing. I probably wouldn't recommend wearing this on a hot/humid day or for an all day wear. But the positive side is that it does come off easily. I have short eyelashes so the perfect mascara for me is one that adds a lot of length. Sometimes mascaras clump a bit so I just keep a clean eyelash brush to brush out the clumps if needed. Overall I do love natural look this mascara provided and I would recommend, though if the price is too much for you, you can find similar drugstore mascaras at a more affordable price. I gave this mascara a solid try, and while it's not replacing my top favorites, it definitely has some standout qualities worth mentioning. It feels natural and lightweight, making it perfect for someone who wants a more defined, clean look without going full glam. What really impressed me was the ingredient list. This mascara includes lash-conditioning ingredients like Shea Butter and Vitamin C, plus Pea Protein and Fermented Red Ginseng, which are known to help strengthen and promote the appearance of lash growth over time. For a clean beauty product, that's a huge plus—it's not just about how it looks but how it cares for your lashes, too. The wand is another standout. It hugs the lashes just right, separating them nicely while applying just the right amount of product. I loved how easy and mess-free the application was—no clumps, no fuss. When it comes to curl, I'd give it about a 2 out of 10. I haven't used a lash curler in the past year, so that's worth noting. Personally, I gravitate toward mascaras that give me big volume, fluffiness, and hold a curl well, so this didn't completely meet my preferences in that area. That said, it wore surprisingly well in 100+ degree Arizona weather. Even though it doesn't claim to be waterproof or water-resistant, I only noticed the slightest shadow of transfer under my lower lashes after six hours of running errands—which is better than most mascaras I own.
