- Q
Can it be used with BHA/AHA in the same routine?
- Asked by Yun
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your question. You can absolutely use the Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum together with AHA or BHA in the same routine. These ingredients can complement each other when used properly — helping to smooth skin texture, calm redness, and support overall clarity. For best results, we recommend applying the AHA/BHA toner first, allowing it to absorb fully, and then following with the Azelaic Acid serum. This sequence helps maintain effectiveness while minimizing any potential irritation. As with any active ingredients, if your skin is new to exfoliants, you may start by using them on alternate days and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can it be used with retinol in the same routine?
- Asked by Yun
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out to us. Our Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum can generally be used alongside retinol, as both ingredients target different skin concerns and can complement each other. However, since both azelaic acid and retinoids can be active ingredients, we recommend introducing them gradually and using them at different times of the day — for example, applying the azelaic acid serum in the morning and retinol/retinal in the evening. This approach helps minimize potential irritation, especially for sensitive skin. If you experience dryness, redness, or discomfort, please reduce the frequency of use and ensure your skin is well-moisturized.Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
How does this Soothing Serum compare to the Rice Ceramide Hydraring Barrier Serum when it comes to dealing with sensitivity and reducing inflammation?
- Asked by Tina
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out to us! Both serums are suitable for sensitive skin, but they work in slightly different ways. The Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum is formulated to calm redness and visibly reduce inflammation, making it ideal for easily irritated or acne-prone skin. Meanwhile, the Rice Ceramide Hydrating Barrier Serum focuses on restoring moisture and strengthening the skin barrier to help prevent future sensitivity. If your main concern is managing redness and inflammation, we recommend starting with the Azelaic Acid serum. If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know - we’re here to help. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Should this product be used during the day or night? Is there also other skincare products you shouldn't use at the same time with the serum? Like a vitamin c, AHA/BHA or a retinol? Also, since this product has exfoliating properties should you avoid using a physical exfoliant while using this product?
- Asked by Meow meow
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your question about our Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum. This serum can be used both morning and night. If your skin is sensitive or new to azelaic acid, we recommend starting once daily in the evening, then gradually increasing to twice daily as your skin adjusts. It can be used in the same routine with AHA/BHA, as these ingredients complement each other when layered properly. For best results, apply your AHA/BHA toner first, let it absorb, and then follow with the Azelaic Acid serum. However, to minimize potential irritation, we recommend avoiding high-strength Vitamin C or Retinol in the same routine. These can be alternated between AM and PM use instead. Since the serum already provides mild exfoliation, we also advise not to combine it with physical exfoliants, as this may over-exfoliate the skin. Was this answer helpful to you

Did not agree with my skin
As I have aged I have begun to get more redness that tends to occur after cleansing. I am always searching for a good product that can calm my skin down. I was able to try the Anua AZELAIC ACID 10 HYALURON REDNESS SOOTHING SERUM. I applied a few drops of the serum to my freshly cleansed face. The...

Amazing!
I rarely write reviews on products but felt like it was an injustice not to on this product. I'm probably on my 5th bottle so far & I can't imagine my life without this product. Keeps my hormonal acne in check, elimates redness, gets rid of my PIE & gentle enough to use every single day. I use this morning & night and my makeup still stays looking good if its layered under my skincare during the day. Please never stop making this product!
NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
this broke me out so bad and gave me lots of redness after the next couple days. I got many pimples and bumps on my cheek and nose area. be cautious if you have sensitive skin.
Broke me out !
I have very sensitive acne prone skin and bought this with the hopes that it will help with redness and reduce breakouts . Sadly , it made me break out with cystic acne.
cleared my acne and scars legit within a week
I swear i never write reviews but oh my god please get this if your struggling with acne. i've used so many products and this is the only one that's worked for me. for reference i have dry and sensetive acne prone skin. i've used salysic acid, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, and they all were too strong for my skin. this one is great if your skin normally reacts bad to things. i also used cleansing oils, korean skin care products, spot treatments, but i swear this is the only thing that's worked for me
I will buy it again
It's really good if you have redness on your face, really gentle and works amazing!
