Did not agree with my skin

As I have aged I have begun to get more redness that tends to occur after cleansing. I am always searching for a good product that can calm my skin down. I was able to try the Anua AZELAIC ACID 10 HYALURON REDNESS SOOTHING SERUM. I applied a few drops of the serum to my freshly cleansed face. The...

Amazing for Sensitive Skin!

This product is such a must-have now in my skincare set. I have very pale skin and redness shows incredibly easily. Not only does this serum calm my skin, but it is super hydrating. I'm 26 and have PCOS/hormonal acne and this never causes me issues - I love to use this at night and a niacinamide serum in the morning.

Holy grail product for adult acne!!

I am 26 years old, and in the last few years I've had terrible hormonal acne. Nothing has worked except this product! My acne is basically gone and my pores are non existent! I use a peptide moisturizer before the serum, and another moisturizer after.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Glorified hydration serum + inconsistent results

I tried this azelaic acid serum upon finishing the peach slices 10% azelaic acid cream serum. Both are clean ingredients, both are korean beauty, but this missed the mark for me. It just wasnt effective. I had some texture come back after switching products. The redness and mild rosacea on my cheeks wasnt as well regulated/consistent. Some days the Anua serum worked well, some days it didnt help at all. Upon further research i found out azelaic acid doesnt combine well with water making the free azelaic acid in this product much lower than the 10% marketed. Going back to the peach slices one!

Q
Should this be used on dry or damp skin? I know that hylaronic needs to be used on slightly wet skin to bind and this product contains 3 types of it!
Asked by Jules
Official Answer By Anua - Brand Engage
Thank you for your questions! The Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum can be applied to either dry or slightly damp skin after cleansing. If your skin tolerates azelaic acid well, applying the serum to slightly damp skin can help enhance hydration thanks to the hyaluronic acid complex. However, if you have sensitive skin or are new to azelaic acid, we recommend applying it to dry skin first, as this may help minimize the potential for irritation. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Can this product be used on someone's fingers that are red due to skin picking?
Asked by H
Official Answer By Anua - Brand Engage
Thank you for reaching out to Anua! The Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum is formulated for use on facial skin. We do not recommend applying it to fingers or areas where the skin has been damaged due to skin picking, as compromised skin may become further irritated. It's best to allow the affected area to heal before using active skincare products. If the redness persists or the skin is broken, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional for appropriate care. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Does it lighten skin tone or bleach skin tone?
Asked by Jw
Official Answer By Anua - Brand Engage
Thank you for your questions! The Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum is not designed to bleach or lighten your natural skin tone. It helps brighten the appearance of post-breakout marks and promote a more even-looking skin tone, while helping to soothe redness and support breakout-prone skin. It will not change your natural skin color. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can you use this with a retionol serum?
Asked by Mo
Official Answer By Anua - Brand Engage
Thank you for your question. The Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum can generally be used with a retinol serum. However, since both ingredients are active skincare ingredients, we recommend introducing them gradually, especially if you have sensitive skin. You may choose to use them on alternate evenings or apply the azelaic acid serum first, followed by retinol if your skin tolerates the combination well. Be sure to moisturize afterward and apply sunscreen during the day, as retinol may increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. Was this answer helpful to you
