EVERYTHING I want in a styler!!

I've tried cream stylers, but those don't define my waves. I've tried gels and those weigh my hair down and make it look like string. I've tried layering stylers and it just feels like too much for my hair. Don't even get me started on frizz because I've tried everything to the point where I usually...

May work better on younger people's hair?

I will start by saying I am 71, with a full head of long silver wavy/curly hair. I've been using the styling products from the former detox scalp detox (blue) line, with great success: Weightless Air Dry Cream, Full Body Thickening Lotion, & Hydro Style Flexi Jelly. The Full Body Thickening Lotion h...

My hair has been a mess lately - limp, frizzy, pathetic, even after Curlsmith rescued it from frizz a year ago. This stuff is amazing - it's like a gel-paste that really gives me fairly low-frizz curls with a lot of volume and even shine. I'm using it in combination with the no frizz leave in and a touch of no frizz gel - I think I can stop using the gel after summer is really over. I put all that in when my hair is wet and add a little more as it's drying. I can also add a bit more on the second and third day just to pull my curls into shape. Sometimes I add a little oil. It's a soft hold but it also has a lot of body.

Somewhat disappointed as this cream provided less definition and texture than the air dry conditioner.

I have a 3a/3b curl type, and really loved the fragrance free shine jelly with hold #6 (I'm still devastated that it's gone). I tried the new fragrance free stronghold gel and was extremely disappointed, so I thought I would try this new product. It was an improvement, but it's still not as good as my favorite product. The hold is good, but the frizz is worse than before, I also have less definition than usual. Because it was so expensive I'm going to finish using the bottle before buying something else. The scent is better than the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly (which is probably what I'll end up using even though I don't like the smell). It's worth a try, but it's just not quite what I was hoping for.
