Does it burn if it gets in your eyes??

- Q
Can i use this under makeup?
- Asked by Liz
- Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BEHello there! Yes, the Anthelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60 is designed to be worn under makeup. Its dry-touch formula creates a matte finish that serves as an excellent base for makeup application. It helps to prevent makeup from pilling or sliding while providing broad-spectrum sun protection. After applying the sunscreen, allow it to absorb fully into the skin before applying your makeup. This will help ensure a smooth and even application. Was this answer helpful to you

the ONLY sunscreen my face tolerates
I have young skin (21 y/o). My skin is well-pigmented in that I've only gotten sunburned twice in my life. But, my skin is majorly acne-prone. I could NOT find a sunscreen that would work it. For a while, I just stopped using sunscreen altogether, even though I felt guilty going without. I have br...

worst cream I've ever used in my life
The most terrible cream I have ever used in my life. looks terrible, rolls off. I tried to apply it in different ways, but the result was the same: it rolls off. It says that it can be used as a base for makeup, but it cannot be applied even with regular normal cream, let alone under makeup. I spent...

Hard to apply and SMELLS
I find that this sunscreen DOES disappear on my skin and doesnt leave whitecast, which i appreciate! However, its really hard to rub in and I can never tell if its even. Also, I absolutely cannot get past the smell. It is like lighter fluid and Ive come to dread using it. Once I'm out of product I do not plan to buy again.
Waste of money
Do not buy this, i tried it once and it started to peel off my skin. I thought maybe it was something in my skincare, I tried it again a second and a third time a few days later with different things incorporated into my skincare routine. It still peeled. The consistency is terrible. This feels more like body sunscreen you use to go to the beach, etc. I would def not wear it under makeup.
Burns your eyes
This face sunscreen will burn your eyes like no other. I've never had an issue with any other face sunscreen doing this.
Pilling and Drying
This was not one of my fave sunscreens. It was actively drying to my skin, so it was not great under makeup. It also started pilling a lot, as other reviews mention. I tried using more at a time to see if that would help but no luck.
