Most Helpful Positive Review Thee Best Cheap Translucent Powder!!!!! My skin tone resembles milk chocolate, a lot of translucent powders make my face look ashy. SURPRISINGLY this cheap translucent powder is light and smooth and blends naturally despite its chalky appearance, gives my face a soft matte look and makes my face look seamless. I do have to re-apply about every 4 hours but for less than $5 I'm perfectly fine that (I love powder time)... and to me, every 4 hours is a good thing because my skin is uber oily!! Like I can wipe my nose and moisturize my elbows with it! lol hahaa but seriously this keeps the oil at bay pretty good.
Most Helpful Critical Review Okay Powder I have medium dark African American skin and it made me look a bit powdery at first. After I had it on for an awhile it seemed more natural. It contols shine. Okay translucent powder for the price but like Neutrogena Translucent Powder better although it's a bit pricey.

BEST POWDER 5
RG from Ohio
I am so blown away by this powder!! It is incredible! It was recommended to me by a girl who has medium to deep skin and she said it didn't leave a white cast on her skin, and I've got pretty light skin so I wasn't too concerned.. mind you I don't typically like pressed face powders… BUT THIS ONE IS SO GOOD!!! Not cakey looking, not too firmly pressed (which is usually my issue with pressed setting powders) there is some kickback but I've never minded that in products. Overall incredible for the price!
Pretty decent 4

It doesn't leave a white cast, lasts throughout most of the day, but it's difficult to get the product on your brush. Would buy again.
12 hour shift 5
tanyamol from greensboro
this made my makeup last for 12 hours working at a restaurant and having to be outside time to time makeup doesn't budge a bit and I don't use setting spray
skin type: oily

Would buy again 4

This product works wonders I have it 4 stars though because while it does leave u Matte, you do have to touch up and reapply it occasionally
it's ok 2
Liz from West Texas
This powder is translucent, and it does not give my face a white cast like some other translucent powder I've tried. but I can barely get any product on my brush. I have to go over each spot several times just to get an adequate amount on. it also feels like I have to reapply this every couple of hours to take the shine away, no matter what foundation and/or concealer is on my face. price point isn't bad but I'd rather just go with another compact that I don't have to work so hard for.
Great Cover 5

I have been using the product for a long time and I absolutely love it

I like this for touch ups and keeping it in my bag. It doesn't do wonders but I like this it really is translucent.
Wouldn't buy again 2
Hanna from Pennsylvania
I finished the product but I wouldn't buy again. Didn't add any coverage and not a lot of product.
Love Product, Cheap packaging 3
Leena from New York
Always breaks without fail..needs better packaging so I can carry this in my purse.
Unfortunately, it sits at home broken powder and broken compact
Shatters with first use 2
Kat from Harlan KY
I have purchased this twice. The first time I thought I had broken the compact but, I liked the product. So I wanted to get another that wasn't broken. It busted with the first use.
best value for sensitive skin 5

It's incredibly hard to find an oil-free, fragrance-free mattifying powder. This does the job with no white cast and enough powder picks up on the brush so you don't have to struggle with it. The packaging is a little flimsy and the powder can crumble a little if you're too rough with it. I won't rebuy any of my high end powders if they keep selling this.
Great for touch ups! But shatters easily. 4
Kristen from FL
As mentioned it is amazing for touching up but you must be careful with this powder, breaks easy! The container and powder itself.. But for the price, you really can't complain! This fixes up my makeup pretty nice after a long day or breaking a sweat, I'm pretty oily so I use blotting papers, then this powder and my foundation looks less "broken up" and less in my creases. 4 stars just because it breaks easily and a lack of darker shades.

My best friend has been telling me to try this product for months. So I finally did and let me tell you, I absolutely love it! It doesn't leave a white cast and it helps keep oil down while helping the skin to appear smooth! Highly recommend ya'll check it out!
Great for touch ups 5

I have medium dark skin (like NC45) and I bought this as my "purse powder" so I use it a few times a week only after my lunch break. It soaks up all of my oil and does NOT leave a white cast. It doesn't have a mirror, so I have to keep one in my bag too. If I used it as a setting powder, or if I had dry skin (and less oil to soak up the "white" then it's possible it could leave me ashy, but for what I use it for, it's my new favorite. I'm going to buy a 2nd one and try setting, and the yellow one for under eye.
Not sure whether I would buy again 3
Adrienne from Atlanta
This is quite a good matte powder, however I"m not sure whether I prefer the Banana powder as the
color is more natural for the skin, as the white powder can be a little pasty
Meh 3
Preezy from Savannah
It works, but I have medium tan skin and it leaves a white cast. Also the powder always cracks on me! I've repurchased this twice and both compacts cracked after a few uses and now I get white powder all over my clothes every time
I use it! I know it's cheap so I can't really complain about packaging but it's a nuisance.
It works 4
Kittypause from Ohio
I'm impressed with this brand. This powder is very soft and it immediately mattes where needed to reduce shine. My skin is sensitive. This has created no irritation or breakouts. Skin on the dry side in spots. This does not make it dryer. Removed a star since there's no little brush included in the compact which is not very convenient. Therefore, I typically use my fingers to apply, as needed, in an attempt to carry less.
Works Well 4
KimMUA from VA
I use this as an all over setting and finishing powder to dust on after I have finished my makeup and to keep shine controlled throughout the day. I love to spritz a little setting spray then brush this on the Essence large fluffy brush as it also helps keeps my makeup from getting all over my face mask (not entirely but it helps). This inexpensive little line has some real steals and this is one of them.
Not that great 1
Alyssa from California
I have medium brown skin and this powder left suck a chalky, white, weird powdery look on my skin and I felt that it just sat on my skin weird. Unless you have really pale skin, then I wouldn't suggest this powder.
Love 5
Tanya from Toledo, Ohio
I bought this on the recommendation of one of my favorite YouTubers who also has oily skin. I'm 42 so I use powder extremely sparingly. This powder is absolutely perfect for me. I use it to "bake" around my nose and the other super oily areas of my face. Granted, I'm light/medium toned and I definitely don't think it'd work for darker skin because it is white (although it easily brushes away for me and has zero flashback). To address one of the previous reviews, I'm a huge high end "snob", but I love this powder.
Not the product I thought I was buying 3
Kayoe from Indiana
I didn't look close enough in the store. I thought I was buying a powder that would do more oil absorbing. It's actually a fixing powder, and works great for that. I wish it would help my shininess a bit more but still pretty good especially for the price
Garbage 1
Jacklyn from Las Vegas, NV
If you use high end makeup on a daily.. this will be a disappointment, save those dollars for some snacks ..
NOPE 1
FF578 from Hunt Valley, MD
I have dark skin but this said it's for all skin tones so I bought it. This powder is definitely white. You can really tell where you put this on your face. I tried the trick where you do powder under foundation and the mattifying effects were just ok, no different than any other powder I've tried.
