Doesn't work as advertised
I bought this item for my curly hair ... I followed the directions and it didn't do as advertised. I tried twice and both times ended up using my dyson straightener anyways. Returned the product 3 weeks ago ...still no credit and was told I would not get my tax returned either. Only the cost of t...

I would not buy this again.
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am left handed. This item did not work for me. This item does not open as wide as a flat iron, therefore very small sections must be done making it very time consuming.
Good product but not for all
I have thick wavy frizzy hair and did not like this item for myself. The staighter is heavy.. half way though my arm hurt. Its hard to clamp and hold. It left my hair frizzy but it did straighten it after a going over it 2 times.. wished it would have been awesome like the airwrap.
Love it- for me
I bought this a year ago, it's still going strong! My hair dries in a slightly wavy puffy mess. I can use this as a blow dryer to get it almost dry and start straightening, or use it on completely dry hair. The cool shot feature really is the star of the show, you can see a difference immediately when using it and how shiny the hair is after. I would say the noise is pretty loud, and it's kind of a bulky product. My hair doesn't stay as straight when using it as opposed to a standard hair straightener, but it saves me time, and looks more sleek.
Amazing for my "long" thick, wavy, frizzy hair
I have thick wavy hair with plenty of frizz on the top layers, currently about 4 inches past collarbone length and this gets my hair from toweled wet to dry, straight, and smooth in about 20 minutes - something that used to take an hour+. There are tricks to making this work on frizzy, stubborn hair, and i dont think the negative reviews tried very hard honestly. It takes a couple passes to dry and there is frizz after the wet to dry setting, using the dry setting smooths the hair after its dry, and using the cool air sets it for days! All i did was watch some youtube videos to learn this and am so grateful that this exists! Absolutelt worth the money if you have the money to spare - waiting for a $100 off coupon also worth the wait!
LOVE
I love the Dyson Airstraight! It works great for my short bob and gets it super straight. I didn't feel like there was a huge learning curve at all. It is a little heavy if you consider the battery pack BUT the battery lays on the counter so Im not having to lift it when Im doing my hair. Yes it is pricey but I now have my one and done tool.
