- Airflow is projected downwards at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair for a smooth end style – with less damage and breakage²
- Glass bead thermistors, located in the machine arms, regulate airflow temperature up to 30 times per second to prevent heat damage and protect hair’s natural shine
- Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor has a 13-blade impeller that spins up to 106,000rpm, propelling 11.9 liters of air through the machine per second. This generates 3.6kPa of air pressure, powerful enough to straighten hair as it dries
- LCD screen features a high-definition color display that shows airflow and temperature settings for easy reference when styling
- Lock feature allows you to slide the button to lock and unlock the arms of your machine. Use with the arms locked to gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots
- Auto-pause occurs after three seconds of inactivity. Your machine will automatically pause to save energy. Simply move the machine to restart the airflow

Straightening from wet:
• Start with towel-dried hair and select Wet mode. Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
• Lock arms and rough dry the roots.
• Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature. Straighten and style damp hair in sections.
Straightening from dry:
• Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style. Select desired airflow and temperature, Boost mode is available if required.
• Straighten hair in sections.

Never Received - Terrible Customer Service
If I could give zero stars, in fact, minus five stars, I would. Truly the most awful customer service I have ever received. I ordered the straightener on December 24th along with a vacuum. The Vacuum came within a week, the straightener never showed up. I chatted with my first customer service agent...

Try it!
I have very long, fine curly hair, but I have a lot of hair. Washing my hair used to be a chore. Now I don't hate it as much. I let my hair air dry for a little while, it's probably 70% still wet and then I use it to dry my roots as a blow dryer. After that two passes and it's pin straight, using the straightener mode. It stays straight, not frizzy, until I wash it again. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
I will cry if they ever discontinue this
This device I wish I had yearsssssss ago. I have thick semi wavy hair and this has cut drying time a 3rd of my normal time. It works best for me if i take a middle thickness strands and pass it through 3x. No more poofy hair. The wavys hardly come back! I love this thing so much. I use it dry as a normal hair straightener which is fine but rarely need it because my hair stays straight from the wet to dry side. I would be so lost without this thing. Worth all your points!!!!
Caused split ends and dry hair
I was really excited about this product given the brand, features and my familiarity and use of other dyson products. However, i noticed after using this straightner for a few weeks my hair began splitting and drying out. I have thick long hair and this has been my experience. Unfortunately, I coulf not return it since I threw the box away right away and got too excited about using and had in mind i would keep this item which I did. Over all im disapointed and would not recommend to anyone who cares about their hair care. It is over priced and not worth it!
