Allow moisturizer and primer to fully absorb before application. Using PÜR's Chisel Brush or a dense foundation brush, swirl the brush in the compact to pick up product. Tap excess powder from brush to prevent over-application. Buff the foundation onto skin using gentle circular motions, starting from the center of your face and working outward. The minerals activate with the buffing motion, transforming from powder to a silky, skin-like finish. For areas needing additional coverage (redness, dark spots, blemishes), layer product by gently pressing and buffing more foundation in those specific areas. For a truly airbrushed finish, allow foundation to settle for 2-3 minutes as it blends with your natural oils to create a seamless, natural appearance. Best Powder Foundation
I bought this in March 2025 during my favorite time of year (21 Days of Beauty), and it has been amazing! I still haven't hit pan, since a little product goes a long way. It takes seconds to apply and looks airbrushed all night while working in a hospital. For reference, I have combo skin that is leaning more dry with age. I highly recommend giving this a try!
Love the powder, hate the case
The powder has good coverage, not too drying, very comparable to Clinique. I will bounce between the two depending on what's on sale. The case, though, is very flimsy, the hinge is a cheap piece of plastic that breaks easily. I don't handle it roughly, it stays in my bathroom drawer for the most part, as I don't travel much. This makes me lean more towards Clinique because their cases are more sturdy, but as neither of these products are cheap, sale prices win.
Tried and true
I have been using 4-in-1 pressed mineral makeup for 10 years. I try other things and always come back. Use it with a kabuki brush and a light touch for a natural, medium coverage. I'm 57 and get compliments on my skin consistently when I wear this. Liquid makeup never looks natural enough for me. I wear this easily over concealer and skin care, except it doesn't play as well with some sunscreens. When I'm going to be out in the sun for hours, I use a tinted mineral sunscreen product instead. The sunscreen protection in this is sufficient for winter in the north, on days I'm mostly inside, office or going out make up.
Why did the stop selling in stores??
I love this product that I discovered at Ulta over 2 years ago, I've purchased about 4 over the years, but unfortunately they no longer sale it in the store. 5 star product, but 0 stars to Ulta for this move. It's light but conceals my dark under eyes, as well as my sun spots on the left side of my face.
The one I keep coming back to
I've used this product for years and keep coming back to it. I prefer light, natural coverage, and this evens out my skin without looking heavy or cakey. It's also very gentle. My skin and eyes are sensitive and many foundations—especially liquid—are irritating, but this one doesn't bother my eyes or skin at all. Another plus is value. The compact contains more product than many high-end powder foundations and costs less, so it's more economical. If you like a simple powder foundation that looks natural and is easy on sensitive skin, this is a great option.
