Here's how to mix it up:
Step 1: Unscrew the tip of the serum activator and squeeze all the contents into the bottle containing the pure vitamin C powder.
Step 2: Screw the cap on the bottle and shake well until the powder fully dissolves.
Step 3: Replace the cap with the dropper; it's now ready to use.
Apply to clean, dry face and neck in the morning and evening.

It's not a bad product it just didn't work for me. After using it for a while I noticed that I was getting a rash and once I stopped using it the rash went away. I also didn't like the way the products smell. I like when my face products have a little fragrance

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] this concept is great, keeping the components separate until you use it and then mixing right before use. the smell is kind of like when you blow out a match. the consistency was a little sticky for me. it left my skin kind of sticky honestly and it made my skin feel sort of cool like it had a tiny bit of peppermint or something in it. didn't notice a big difference in "glow" and I think the price tag is ridiculous. this is probably a great product for other people, but not my favorite.

When mix properly it gives maximum potency for smoother softer skin! I noticed results by the end of week 1! I used this product twice a day Am/PM just a few drops on a clean face and on my neck.
