please read, i was in the trial

For everyone wanting to use, or currently trying this product, I wanted to say a few things. I was actually in the trial group of people that used this product before it was presented to the public without a prescription. It was a group of a few hundred people, we were monitored online, filled weekl...

Oh my god.

Uh okay. Believe me when I say it works. Takes a bit but it works. It does burn during that process. For me, and maybe some of you reading this, after using it 2-3 times, your skin begins to dry your skin out severely. You use the product, wait 30-45 minutes to moisturize, but when I say moisturize,...

This creams works great. I get the occasional pimple, but I don't use for that. I use it for the fine lines, the acne treatment is a bonus. It's very gentle, but I just use it every other day for now since I'm new to this product.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I used to use the Rx version of this; it worked ok. But dried my skin out & that's really not the #1 effect I was hoping for. I just wanted the deeply painful cystic acne, due to cosmetic oils, to go away. (Sunflower seed oil, in particular - BEWARE if your acne prone or sensitive, or if you have tree/pollen allergies of any sort.) As I am not acne prone nor sensitive skin, & yet I've never had worse acne in my life than from sunflower seed oil (which is now in everything!!) This stuff is really weak tho; not effective at all. & if you dare mix it with ANY other products, your skin will burnnnn like it's on firre for hours. NOT worth even 1$.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I am in my late 40s but still deal with acne and skin congestion. This also is supposed to help with aging issues as it is, apparently, a mild retinoid. I had never given this product a real chance but added it in to my routine a couple weeks ago and I am already seeing progress. I am also on an oral antibiotic but have been for a long time. I use the niacinamide serum from Ordinary and salicylic acid face wash, so this all combines to be pretty effective.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

This product can be SO good if used correctly, it does take time to see progress (took me about 2 months and counting) to see some actual progress but be prepared for the skin dryness/shedding. Moisturize before and after (i use cicaplast) and it helps a lot. I started off once a week for about 3 weeks before doing twice a week. I haven't gotten any crazy breakouts but maybe 1-2 sometimes. Trial and error with this product but it works so good after some time.
