Most Helpful Positive Review Wow, It Actually Made a Difference! I didn't want to believe that a hair dryer could make a difference in how my hair actually dried. Heated blown air is all the same, right? Well, that was my long-held theory for many years...until I purchased this dryer. I tried to give myself the same blow-out as my skilled stylist: I used the exact same products and even the same round brush! Alas, my long, thick coarse hair ALWAYS frizzed, no matter what. It dawned on me that the only difference was the hair dryer. I began an in-depth investigation of hair dryers and quickly learned that most of the top-rated dryers exceeded my monthly car loan payment. Uh, no, I don't think so. But was I willing to spend just a little more than normal on the chance that I could eliminate dryer frizz? Absolutely! Based on positive reviews, the reasonable price, and a coupon, I took a chance on the BaByliss Nano Titanium dryer. Much to my surprise, it actually made a difference! My hair dries much faster with less frizz at the highest settings (not completely frizz-free, mind you, but any reduction is greatly appreciated). The dryer weighs substantially less than my old Revlon, and I am able to completely dry my hair without working up a sweat (a boon to any gal approaching or experiencing menopause!). It has a variety of settings, so I think it's possible to decrease the frizz even more by using the low heat/low speed setting if one has the time. Overall, I'm impressed with what this dryer has done for my hair so far and would recommend it to anyone looking to reduce the frizzies without draining their bank account.
Most Helpful Critical Review Such a disappointment I bought this after my hairdresser recommended it and I really wanted to love it. But I just didn't. The pluses are it's pretty light weight and it dries my hair fast. The problem is my hair looks awful after it's dried. The heat is so low and the air is so forceful that my hair is blown all over the place, and it blows right off the round brush. And the buttons are placed right where you hold the handle. They are flip on and off (not slide up and down). So every time I move my hand (which is a lot because I'm trying to control the ridiculous wind tunnel this thing creates), I accidentally change the airflow, heat setting or shut the thing off altogether. For the price, I was expecting to be wowed. I've had $15 blow dryers that were designed better than this.

I bought this after seeing it ranked as Good Housekeeping's #1 overall pick for hair dryers. It's light weight and dries my hair quickly.
It burns your hair 2
E.REY from Ca
I have to blow dry my hair on medium heat otherwise it feels like its burning my hair. Keeping it on medium heat with not enough blow dry power takes me longer to blow dry my hair.
Thankfully I work from home so I don't really need to blow dry my hair as much but I wouldn't recommend this dryer.
So far so good! 5

I read many of the reviews regarding this blow dryer. I have not had any issues with it. My hair dries fast with this BabyBliss Pro, which is good since I have thick hair, and also provides me the opportunity to style my hair through the drying process. It is not heavy to hold. My husband has also used it. His hair is thin and he has used the higher settings on the speed and heat also without any issues.

I love Babyliss Pro brand. I have the flat iron and now this blow dryer. Both have been great and exceptional.

I was hesitant about spending the money for his hair dryer but definitely worth it. My short hair has less frizz. The hair dryer is light weight and it takes less time to dry my hair. I would recommend this purchase.
It just died! 3

My 1st experience with this brand of hairdryer. I've used it for 7 months and it just stopped working. I've never had another hairdryer stop working before for no apparent reason. Hairdryers usually last for years and I end up donating them.
Absolutely love it 5
CristinaM from Fort Worth, TX
I blow dry with a round brush and this decreases the amount of time I spend on drying. My hair is curly/wavy and I don't need to use a straightener after a blow out like I typically do with other dryers.
nice hairdryer 5
Pinky from Milwaukee
I wasn't too keen on spending this much for a hairdryer but it's light weight and quieter than my last one. Hopefully it'll last more than the 2 years my old hairdryer did.
Love this blow dryer! 5

Very disappointed with this blow dryer 2

I had been using an older model BaBylissPRO Tourmaline Titanium 3000 Dryer for 4 years before it started to fall apart on me. I had wanted to buy this one for awhile but couldn't get over the price tag. After finally deciding to splurge I am wishing I had just purchased my old dryer again.
Even though this dryer is supposedly significantly stronger, it does not seem to be. It seems very weak compared to my old one. But the biggest issue is the terrible design flaw. The buttons are awkwardly placed but worst of all the concentrator nozzle simply slides over the dryer, which basically means you have to take it off in order to change the positions. I have to change the position at least 3 times while drying my hair which is impossible because it gets so hot you can't touch it! On the older model it snapped in to the top and you could simply twist it without barely touching it. So disappointed I spent so much money on a lukewarm hairdryer.
Just what I was looking for 5

I don't need anything fancy since my hair is pretty good and resilient. I am old and arthritic so I wanted something light with six functions. This suits the bill.

this hairdryer made my entire head into one big knot and it took hours to get it out and made my hair fall out

My favorite blow dryer yet! 5
Katie from NY
I always hated blow drying my hair because it would instantly turn into a frizzy mess. I wanted a salon-like blowout and this one delivers!

Great dryer 5

This is a great hair dryer. With the concentrated nozzle attachment, hair dries quickly, smooth, and shiny. Not too heavy or loud either.
Happy with purchase 4

Lightweight
Powerful - I have curly hair and use a diffuser most of the time; this high setting is so strong I use the low setting even with the diffuser
Heat - High is pretty hot

I purchased this exact blow-dryer NINE years ago and just it recently started acting up, it actually still is working but only on high speed (the switch stopped working on low speed) After having success with the curling iron as well and reading countless reviews, I went right back to where I needed to be.
IMO this dryer is priced very fair, and it has a 4 year limited warranty.
I have long, wavy, thick hair that takes about 20 minutes for my stylist to blow out with her 399.99 more expensive option. I know everyone loves that one, but I'm a penny pincher and would rather spend the money on something else. Since I already had good luck with this one and I don't wash my hair everyday it wasn't worth it to me to gain an extra 5 minutes. Literally one of the best dryers under 100.00, under countless reviews. tip: be sure to always attach the concentrator to protect your hair .
Love this Dryer-light, quiet, easy to use controls 5
Happy Ulta Customer from Upstate NY
I purchased this dryer to replace a Babyliss Pro that I have had for many years. This dryer is lighter in weight than most, so it is easy on your wrists. Controls are by thumb, so easy to use if you have to switch hand that is holder the dryer. Quiet- doesn't sound like an airplane at take off when operating. Cool button is helpful.
Quick drying and light weight! 5
Tamib from South Carolina
I use this dryer daily. Sure hope it lasts awhile. This is my first Babylis.

I needed a new blow dryer, and went with a higher price of one thinking it would be better. It had good reviews, so I tried it. The high settingblew wayyy too hard! And the next setting down lowers the heat, and does not get your hair dry. I blow dry for 20 minutes and my hair still wasn't dry. I would not recommend that.
