Most Helpful Positive Review Great additional SPF layer for makeup
The spray is refreshing and has great range. It keeps my foundation and blush fresh and in place. It is an ideal product to have in your bag, so you can spray throughout the day, if needed with sun exposure.
I have seen a few reviews commenting on the sunscreen scent. As a health precaution, I avoid inhaling SPF ingredients by spraying my face and immediately walking away from that space, holding my breath.
Most Helpful Critical Review Just okay
I really wanted to like this product because I like the brand a lot, however, I had this product for a few weeks and then the top started to stick and it became really difficult to use. I bought this to take on a trip to Florida and on the way back the product leaked in my make up bag pretty badly and I think it's because the packaging is faulty which was a real disappointment considering the price. The product itself is effective, not sticky, and keeps oil at bay however the scent is a little strong for my liking. I won't be re-purchasing this product mainly because of the price and because the Supergoop brand makes a better product that is less expensive and has a higher spf so I think it is a better value than this make up setting spray.

I got my bottle of Coola in my Fab, Fit, Fun box. I used it for the first time when I went to an outdoor event in Florida in June. My makeup still looked good even though it was hot and humid and I had been sweating. I will purchase again.

I wanted to like this. It could be so convenient. It doesn't smell good and chokes you when you spray it on your face. I would suggest spraying it outdoors in the open air. Of that were the only problem I would still love it, because the smell goes away pretty quickly. However, it leaves an oily AND sticky residue on my skin that never soaks in or goes away. It's there until you wash it off. Too bad.
Good for oily skin
Meg from Chicago
This is by far my favorite addition to my makeup routine. Wore this out in 80 degree heat and my makeup was fine. I have sensitive oily skin and this helped so much. And so far have had no crazy breakouts from it. There is a smell when you spray it but it goes away within a minute or two. Don't let that stop you from getting this.

Doesn't squirt out evenly.
Best setting spray!

Best for use after makeup application

This might actually be the worst product I have ever used. It's like spraying pure alcohol on your face. It immediately burns and the smell is overwhelming. It feels horrible on my skin. I have pretty dry skin as it is, but this my my skin feel even dryer and made it feel very tight and uncomfortable. Although my skin is not sensitive and is not acne prone, this product made me break out pretty bad after only one use that consisted of only 2 sprays on the face. I definitely do not suggest this product.

Not fond of the smell whatsoever. It leaves a weird feel to your face and any clothing it gets on. I've used almost half of it already because every time I spray it on it feels like there's not enough spraying on me. If you spray too close it clings to every piece of hair growing out of your face and turns them white. I'm going to finish the bottle but won't repurchase. Still on the hunt for a great spray sunscreen
Victorina from Boston
Definitely worth purchasing reapplied a few times through out the day because I was in the sun a lot. It smells like sunscreen but it like a water mist.
I love it
Nara from USA
I love this product, I have a really oily acne prone skin and it works perfectly with setting my makeup and absorb the oils in my face throughout the day.. the only thing I have to say is the smell it's really strong but other than that it's a great product.

Found my summer setting spray

I love the finish and feeling of the setting spray. Definitely has a strong fragrance but that doesn't bug me if you have issues with fragrance I would steer clear otherwise 100 recommend!!

It honestly does work. I'm oily combo and I was not oily after wearing a full face of makeup which was my main concern. I gave it 4 stars because it really does smell bad BUT the smell does go away
Burns when applied and smells of alcohol
MissMkayla from New York
I was soo excited to try this! As soon as I sprayed my face I got the strong smell of Alcohol and then the burn sensation on my face. It made my face really dry and I could still feel the burning sensation after it dried. Will be returning.
Strong Smell, Burns Eyes
Erika from Sac, California
I like how this setting spray includes SPF. I recieved a sample of this in Ulta's specials and had already expired. For the product itself, it has a strong unpleasant smell. But more importantly, does it hold my makeup? Well after spraying, I opened my eyes and the spray is strong enough to make my eyes water so much that it felt it was burning. Obviously cant touch my face cause of my makeup. So I checked the mirror and I squint hard enough my mascara printed my under eye area. And it happens every time that I have to wait an extra minute to open my eyes after application. Glad it was only a sample, so I def will not recommend this and understand other reviewers about the smell. Its horrible and beats the purpose of a setting spray if it causes to mess up my makeup after applying.
Couldn't get past the smell
NotHannah from TN
I tried it out and couldn't get past the smell. Kind of reminds me of used baby wipes. It provided good SPF protection though so I will give it that! Didn't feel heavy on my skin.
Made my face burn!!!
Laura from Michigan
I really wanted to love this product. I wanted something that could easily be re applied through out the day without ruining my make up. I used this product for the first time today and sprayed it about 4 times as i was outside most of the day. After the 3rd spray i noticed my face started to feel like it was burning, but i thought maybe i just got sunburned, which i thought was weird, but i applied more. About 30 min later i came inside to take a shower and i have never felt my face feel like this before! The worst area is around my eyes, including my eye lids. This is when i knew for sure that it was from this product as i had large sunglasses on all day that completely cover my eye area. I'm not sure what's in this product that caused the burning, but even hours later it hasn't gotten any better. Please be cautious with this product, and if you feel burning, don't reapply like i did!

I actually found this on sale at a discount department store and fell in love with it. Love that it includes SPF and the frosted glass bottle is so nice. MAKE SURE TO READ THE APPLICATION DIRECTIONS. You do not spray directly onto your face, you spray some into your hands and pat it on. It made my makeup last long with and without wearing a mask. The smell is like sunscreen, I don't know why people are complaining so much about it. It doesn't stay once you apply either.
Not actually reef safe
Hayley from Arizona
I've been looking for a good daily sunscreen and I do a lot of research on a new product before I decide to buy. discovered the main ingredient is avobenzone and just want everyone to know that this is NOT REEF FRIENDLY!!! Do the earth a favor and skip this one
Check the Expiration Date

I bought one at ulta and it was expired, make sure you check the expiration date to make sure the SPF will worl

This product smells like cheap tequila. The lid wasn't fastened tight by when I got it and it spilled all over myself and the bottle. Eventually the bottle itself the lid started melting/disintegrating and I could no longer use the product even though it was 3/4 full. So upset over this because the setting spray it self is amazing.
Not bad, I like it
Wavy from San Diego
Helps with making makeup stay longer and re-application of SPF without having to rub sunscreen on your makeup. It made my makeup stay on my face pretty well. I was in Hawaii and went in the beach, swam in it with my whole face underwater the whole time, and rubbed my face on a towel to dry it as well as to blow my nose. Expecting my face to be completely rubbed off, my makeup actually stayed put really well.
Only downside is the alcohol scent of the spray. It goes away after a few seconds but smells like rubbing alcohol/acetone/nail polish remover - yuck. I tolerate it since I don't have any other facial spray containing SPF. I would recommend you spray it on outside or in the car so the smell disappears into the air faster and doesn't linger. Other than the scent, all is good. I would repurchase.
The smell is HORRIBLE
momoneyy from Cali
omg I can't STAND the smell. It stinks so bad. I'm not the one to complain about scents but when something smells horrible I will say it. It does go away after you use it but still! I can't believe they made this & thought the scent was ok! Other than that everything else works great! If they changed the scent I would give it 5 stars & continue to buy this. But I will not repurchase unless there is a different scent.
Best Setting Spray
Winediva from Florida
I'm almost finished with my 1st bottle. It's the best setting spray for my mature skin. It lasts all day. It does have an alcohol smell but it goes away instantly. It also dries faster then any other setting spray that I have. I spray it over Bare Minerals makeup routine. The spf is a bonus. Getting ready to order my 2nd bottle.
Morgan from Arkansas
I did a test spray of this away from my face to see how it came out of the bottle. I'm so glad I did because this smells AWFUL. I can't use it because the smell is so bad.
I wanted to like this so bad...broke out after 2 uses.
C from Massachusetts
I received a sample of this product and wanted to love it because it was actually holding my eye makeup in place, however after two days in a row of use I started breaking out wicked bad where the spray had been misted near my eyes! Eyebrows, between my eyebrows, nose, etc. I do have sensitive, acne prone skin...but just a warning for those with skin like mine!
