Spritz product onto exposed areas of your scalp 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. To achieve even coverage, part your hair into several sections, and massage product onto scalp. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming and sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours.

After you have your base layer, it’s important to reapply your SPF at least every 2 hours, with one exception: if you’ve been swimming, sweating, or towel drying, you should reapply as soon as possible afterward since these activities can decrease the effectiveness of your sunscreen. Note that if you’re using a chemical sunscreen (as opposed to a mineral sunscreen) with non-mineral active ingredients like Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, or Octocrylene, it’s important to wait 15 minutes before more sun exposure to let the sunscreen absorb into your skin.Was this answer helpful to you

Works, but leaves hair greasy.
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am conflicted on this product because it works but leaves my hair (relatively thin hair, slightly wavy) very greasy. I am very fair and my scalp is very prone to getting sunburnt. I bought this before a trip to Walt Disney World and it did the job as my scalp didn't get sunburnt at all. I wouldn't use it for everyday use because of the greasy hair problem, but it's great for when you're going on vacation and don't necessarily need to have perfect hair lol. I usually repurchase before I go on a trip where I know I'll be in the sun a lot.
Fabulous to product brassiness

On one hand, this product is much better than parting my hair, apply the spf I use on my face, & hoping for the best. But the scent is stomach churning and awful. For the price their should be better scents or no scent so I can use a scented hair mist.

This actually doesn't hurt my hair. If anything it added texture lol. Can't really tell a difference other than I like the added protection against UV so that's #1. It smells nice and is very lightweight.
Made my hair greasy
I have thicker head of hair with a finer texture. Ive heard great things and bought it hoping it would protect my scalp as my hair is easily weighed down by products. This product left my hair greasy bedore even going outside and being freshly showered. I wouldnt recommend for those of you with a finer hair texture.
