Dermablend, WHY?
I've used this setting powder since 2018 and it has been my go to, especially during summer and EDM festival season. Having an oily t-zone, and otherwise dehydrated, hyper sensitive skin, I used a powder puff to press the product in and it would just melt right in for all day staying power. I bought 2 during the 21 days of beauty last month and opened one right up. Wtheck- it is AWFUL. This is NOT the same powder. This new stuff just sits on my skin and I now have an added step where I have to brush the powder away. No matter how little I use or how much moisture I've added to my morning routine, within an hour, my face is DRY as a desert. Fine lines, pores, all the imperfections. I returned the unopened box and will toss this one as soon as I find a replacement. Sad times.
Best loose setting powder
I have used the translucent setting powder for years in combination with the Dermablend CC foundation, & body (arms & legs) foundation. It definitely locks the foundation in & provides that finished foundation look. I recently tried to repurchase it as I'm almost out & I was shocked when I saw it was sold out! It appears that a lot of other people have caught on to my "secret" loose powder. I want to try the pink loose setting powder next to see if I can tell a difference between the translucent & pink. I highly recommend this loose powder for people with aging skin. It doesn't cake up or crack.
Talc free powder now
I recently ordered this because I saw that talc was still listed in the ingredients on the app. However, when my order arrived, I noticed the ingredient list no longer includes talc. I absolutely loved the original formula, so I'm really going to miss it! I wish the ingredient list on the app had been updated before I ordered.
Why!!!
Like everyone, why change something that was working?! I didnt really notice the orange look until i got outside and looked in the car mirror. What the heck! I was so embarrassed but we were already out and about doing errands. I couldn't wait to get home to wash off the mess. Threw the container away. Won't buy even at half off. Figure changes are made to save money to make the products cheaper. Lost a long time customer.
ingredients on the ulta description are WRONG
this no longer has talc or the same ingredients. it is a completely different formula. DO NOT BUY. ULTA UPDATE YOUR INGREDIENTS LIST
