Most Helpful Positive Review I would buy this lip liner again and again! I have been searching for the perfect nude lip liner for a really long time and was never satisfied because no matter what brand I tried they would either be way to dark or way to light. I came across this one when I was searching for a different one and I fell in love. It is my perfect nude shade and goes with so many of my lipsticks. I mostly wear varying nude shades, or light pinks and this goes with all of them. The point does dull pretty quickly, but with a quick sharpen it is ready for action once again. For the price you can't beat it. It is a super creamy formula and doesn't drag across your lips at all when you are applying. Also, if you don't want to wear lipstick you can go ahead and line your lips with this pencil and then fill them in with it. Then I use my finger to diffuse it a little bit. All the lip liners from Colourpop have such a great formula and I love all of them. I am so glad that Ulta carries this brand now.
Most Helpful Critical Review Allergic reaction to product Received this in the mail about a little over a week ago and tried it a few days after. Wore it for most of the day and evening with lip gloss over it, but when I took my makeup off that night my lips hap little bumps all over. The bumps were mostly on the outer edges of my lips where I applied the majority of the lippie pencil and then a few on the res rod my lip since I blended it out with my finger. I put a thick lip balm on hoping by morning they would be fine and they were worse. This time it hurt to even take big bites of food like my lips were sore or something.. The irritation and bumps on my lips took about a week to completely heal and go away on their own.. Its unfortunate this happened I have been excited to try these out and have heard nothing but good things about the product. Be careful if you have really sensitive skin..

Listen up ladiesss, if you're like me and you're kind of pale and have a super hard time finding the perfect bide that's not too pink, but also not too dark get this lip liner, Julia's place lipstick in the shade "libra" and the Madison beer morphe lipgloss in "Saturn" or "Mars" and it's literally the perfect lip combo
worst product 1

I hated this product. When I got it the tip ran out fast and sharpening it was not the easiest. Why have a plastic tube if it's required to sharpen ????! Color was pretty but its a huge no from me .
They're good 5

I'm a beginner using make up and heard this was a good brand that's affordable. I got two colors, the deepened red and warm nude. The deepened red has almost a purple hue to it which I love. Blue tones work better for my skin tone. The warm nude had more of a warmer tone but I still like it. Both were smooth to apply
It was only okay 3

I was looking for something to replace my name brand lip liner. It was an older brand name-they used to come to your door-and I was looking for something new. I didn't like ordering online for this and other products and someone who did nothing got credit for it (and I did all the work!)
This brand was only okay. It was hard to get off even with makeup remover. It dried out my lips. It was not very creamy. I hated that it has to be sharpened with a pencil sharpener. I ordered Bossy, it was a lovely color, but that's about all I can say good about it.
So creamy! 5

I am a sucker for lip products, especially lip pencils and Colourpop's lip liners are so smooth and creamy they glide right on without a fuss. They also stay on all day! The colors are very gorgeous as well. Absolutely recommend

Wasn't expecting this to glide on so easily. Such a smooth application and the pigment was fantastic.

"Love bug" is the color I've been looking for!!! Perfect. Just the most wonderful red-ish color. Really perfect paired with Mac's powder kiss lipstick, "Sultry Move"
breaks when sharpened 2
Tami from Iowa
I didn't like these lip pencils, unfortunately. They broke each time I tried to sharpen them. Liked the colors, but they just didn't work out due to breaking. Had to return. :( I will say I did buy a new sharpener not long after returning these and I wish I had gotten it before to be sure it was the pencil and not the sharpener. Wanted to put that disclaimer just in case it was caused by the sharpener and not the pencil.
Not worth the hype 3

It's a pretty color, but it doesn't last very long and I'm still trying to figure out how to get more product out of the tube.
Doesn't glide on as smoothly as the sales person described 2

My new fav.... 💋💋 5

BEST lip liner!!
For several years my go-to lip liner has always been MAC. I've tried hundreds of different brands and have yet to find one I like near as much... until I tried this lippie!!! It glides on so incredibly smoothly and the color "on snap" is the perfect base for a great nudelike lip... and now I tend to grab it over any of my Mac liners.. for the price point especially, it can't be beat!!!
Buttery and Longlasting 5

These lip liners are some of the best I have come across. They are so buttery and the shade range is perfect. I think the BFF shades are perfect for a natural nude lip and depending on your skin tone, overlining. My favorite is the BFF 3.
On top of the product being good, they are fairly inexpensive and aesthetically pleasing. The sharpening process is not my favorite. I always prefer retractable pens because I feel you waste less product. Other than that, these are my favorites.
Good formula 4
Ailani from Chicago IL
This is a really beautiful nude color and perfect for every day. The formula is smooth and easy to apply.
The only down size for me is that you have to constantly sharpen it because it is not a retractable lip liner.
Other than that great product!
Favorite lip liner 5

Forever skeptical, but... 5

I had low expectations, I suppose of the price point. I should know better with Colourpop!
This pencil is great! It glides on without tugging or caking and it stays put. The color I chose is perfect and pairs well with many colors. Now I want to buy every single one! At this price, I can afford to.
Love Bug shade is new fav 5
Erika from South Carolina
on my neutral light skin tone, I love how deep orangey colors like this look for my lips! new favorite and good formula.
Can't go without this 5
Babadehada from Orlando
This product and the shade bff3 is never missing from my makeup bag. It works wonderfully with other lipsticks and it works great to create that ombré lip look. For the price, you are really getting a fantastic product
Bff2 color change, why??? 3
Bellasz from California
So I frequently used BFF2 these last 2-3 years and still have one of the OG ones that I purchased. I was running out and the new one that I purchased was totally different. I could already tell the color on the packaging was deeper and pinker compared to the old one. Once tried on it wasn't the same runs more warm and is definitely a rose toned deeper pink similar to their shade brink. Before it was a cool/neutral nude pinky slightly mauve "mlbb" shade. So disappointed since I hate warm pinks on myself. Wish they would've warned about the color change now I have a pencil that will most likely go to waste. If you were a fan of the old shade Just know it's not the same anymore. Aside from that I do like cp's formula. Wish I could include a picture to show the difference because it's obvious.
