Fungal acne
Prepare to have a yeast imbalance. Bought this a little over a year ago and have been using it off and on. Since it has beem very dry due to cold weather, ive needed just that little extra bit of moisture. This toner does exactly that. Unfortunately, I will never use this again. I used it almost nightly several months ago, but stopped using it because of fungal acne suspicions. I finally healed my fungal acne a few months ago and figured Id give this product one last chance. I regret it as i am now treating fungal acne again. There was nothing else changed in my routine other than trying this toner again, so it is absolutely the culprit. So beware. If you are fungal prone: avoid.

I've been using this essence daily for the past 7 years. I've tried other essences from Dior, Tatcha, Peach & Lilly, Shiseido etc. and always reverted back to Hanskin. I have sensitive skin and much prefer Hanskin's light, non-irritating, non-sticky finish and super fast absorption. I pat it on my face, neck, decolletage daily after washing my face and after showering. I always use this as my base after toning then add everything else (serum, moisturizer, sunscreen) after. Sometimes i also use it on my hands for quick absorption and extra softness. Results have been amazing and I barely have any fine facial lines in my mid-40s - people think I'm still in my 30s. I don't get facials often and when I do, the estheticians can't really call out major issues and one even mentioned i had great pores. I can't live without this underrated essence and stock up everytime its on sale. This product is a testament to not needing to spend insane $ on hyped products for amazing results.

I put it on 1st thing after a shower. makes my skin feel and look amazing. layers well with my regiment.
On My 7th Bottle
I'm 47, dry with mildly oily tzone. I stand behind this product. I prefer it over the Etsée Lauder essence. It can be used as 7 Skin and avoid a moisturizer all together. Give it time to truly sink in. Using a fan or blow dryer is not letting it sink in. It's a stand out product.

I liked this product but it didn't do enough for me to repurchase. Good things: no fragrance, easy to apply, mildly hydrating, good layering product.
