WAS my favorite go-to item for more years than I care to count, have bought literally hundreds of tubes. The grit is gone and it's basically just a cream now. I'm not one to leave a review on any product ever, to be honest. But this scrub honestly works wonders!! I've been dealing with closed comedone acne for years. I went to my dermatologist quite a few times. We were able to get it under control for a year or two with prescribed oral medication and prescribed face washes. However for me, I've come to the point where I want to avoid needing to ingest any type of medication or avoid needing to schedule yearly check ins just to pay more money for the actual prescription. I stopped taking the oral meds everyday and was holding steady with just the prescribed face wash, even though I wanted to find another solution to that too. I one day used hair oil to start focusing on my hair health, but it made my forehead break out and my closed comedones came back!!!! I was scrambling the last week trying to figure out how to clear my forehead, especially with a wedding next week that im a bridesmaid for. I researched online and came to find Differin. However it was my husband who also recommended Clinique to me, stating he used it all throughout college to help with his acne, especially to stay clear during sports. When I say it's been only a week of using both this scrub and Differin that my forehead is almost completely cleared!!!!! Idk if it's more one or the other, but I believe it's both working hand in hand. The scrub can def be a bit abrasive if using everyday and scrubbing as hard as I am, but that's easily fixed with light moisturizer. My closed comedones are almost completely gone! I would highly recommend this exfoliate with Differn for closed comedones. No more prescribed treatments costing more money and no more oral medications!!!

I have oily, acne prone skin. I love this scrub. It effectively clears most of my pores. My skin feels great after using it. It's a savior for summer when I'm sweating a lot.

The grit level of this scrub is perfect. Not so coarse that it hurts and not so fine that you can barely feel it. It doesn't dissolve immediately so you get a super clean feeling.
classic scrub
I have used this scrub since my teenage years. It's my favorite for my sensitive skin. It will get the job done gently. No strong smell and easy to remove and clean off. This Clinique Classic is a wonderful product and i will continue to purchase as long as they make it.

It de-flakes, refines, softens tiny lines and leaves skin refreshed. We prefer Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula for dry skin as well as all other skin types. This glow-getter gives skin a smooth start as it gently sloughs away roughness and flakiness. We recommend massaging onto clean skin avoiding the eye area. Tissue off or rinse off with water. The product is great, but it's not very viscous, so getting out of the tube is a struggle. Are there any tips/tricks to getting it to come out more easily? Or does it come in a tub?

- Official Answer By Clinique USGreat question! Try massaging the tube prior to dispensing product. Wet makeup-free skin with water. Using fingertips, massage product onto skin in a circular motion avoiding the eye area and lips. Rinse off and follow with your skin care routine. You can use it 3-4 times a week. Does this cleanse my skin? Please don't just repeat the instructions. I always remove my makeup first. Most of the time I would be using this is in the morning. I always wash my face before bed so there's no makeup. I just need to know if I still need to wash my face before/after using this.
