    Q
Hello! I have long hair, how many pumps should I use? Is this bottle supposed to last for multiple uses?
    Asked by Leni
Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Hair length and texture can definitely impact how much product you use, but with Gloss+ there are multiple uses in bottle and you should be totally fine with just 1 bottle to start! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q

    Q
Can I add my own conditioner to the color gloss before applying so I can dilute the color payoff (I dont want a drastic change)
    Asked by Audrey
Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Thanks for your question! We don’t recommend mixing conditioner into Color Dream, since the color creme and activator were specifically formulated together as a demi-permanent color to provide a beautiful color result. If you’re looking for a less drastic change, a good option is our Gloss+ semi-permanent color-depositing deep conditioner. There are 13 shades to chose from (1 could be closer to your hair color); leave on 3-20 minutes and fades in up to 8 washes. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
    what are the ingredients?

Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Thanks for your question! The full ingredient list for each Gloss+ shade can be found on the product’s detail page. Just scroll to the right-hand side under the “Summary” section and click “Ingredients” to expand and view the full ingredient list. Q
Does this help with greying roots?
    Asked by Janet
Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Thanks for your question! Gloss+ is a semi-permanent color, so it won’t fully cover grays like a permanent hair dye. That said, it can help soften the appearance of grays by adding a light tint that blends them more naturally with your overall color. Results vary from person to person, so we always suggest doing a strand test first to see how it looks on your hair. Was this answer helpful to you

    Seems to work

I really hesitated to buy this because of the price and I wasn't sure how it would work but Ulta has such a libral return policy I thought I would try it. I used this when my hair had a lot of gray roots and I should have been using a box color like I usually do so this was a pretty tough test of th...

    Does not work!

Discovered this at Ulta by accident. I was excited about this product. I'm getting tired of root touch ups every 2 weeks. Well it did nothing. I left it on for 40 mins. As I was waiting, it looked like my roots were turning golden brown. I needed darker, but I would have been fine with it. Washed ...

Worst product I have ever tried

I have tried it four times now trying to see if it's just a me problem. It has stained my shower so badly, takes 30+ minutes to rinse out. Even after rinsing for a half hour to get the water to run off clear it still stains your towel and pillow. It stained my gold earrings that stay in my second piercing. And the color is gone the next day without even washing again, it just faded away? Horrible product and so expensive.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    Fluorescent Orange hair

I don't know what dPHue has done, but they've changed the formula and not in a good way. I used to use this every summer to turn my natural golden blonde a strawberry blonde and this time it made my naturally light pieces fluorescent orange. Idk what I'll do in the future.

I have medium blond hair and got light brown and it left it reddish. I returned the bottle and got ultas IGK color conditioner and it worked well!

    Good to tone down over-highlighting

    Submitted 29 days ago

    By Miranda

    From Yuma, AZ

    Hair Type Straight Hair

I over-bleached my brown hair and wanted something easy to darken the bleached sections a bit. This product worked great for that purpose. My hair now looks like it's got subtle highlights, not the chunky ones I originally had. I found it doesn't condition very well, so I mix it with a bit of regular conditioner. Also wish it lasted a little longer - tends to fade out pretty quick on subsequent washes, but overall, I'm happy with the product.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I would skip this product if you have blonde hair… it still provides some shine but does nothing for blonde color.
