Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I have fine 2B/2C hair and purchased the copper shade to extend my color between dying. I normally follow a CG (silicone free) routine, but my color does contain silicone and I decided to try this since it is not an everyday product and might not build up too much. The gloss did boost my color a bit, but there is way too much silicone in it. After just one use my hair was stringy and greasy looking for two weeks until I finally shampooed the product out with a clarifying product. My scalp also got clogged and bumpy during this time. Not recommended for wavies who are CG or mostly CG. Maybe recommended for people who can tolerate silicone products.

Works well & left my hair looking beautiful!

    By Alex

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I sought out this product after my stylist left my highlights in a bit too long. I have dark brown hair and the highlights were supposed to be a lighter golden brown, instead they were coppery & Orange, not to mention dry and unruly. This product was a tad messy to apply but I applied as instructed and my hair turned out beautiful. It restored the shine on the highlighted strands and toned down the color to a beautiful caramel color. I will be using this until my hair grows out!

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I used this on my virgin warm toned light brown hair. I recently cut off all of my white bleach blonde hair as it was incredibly damaged and breaking. My natural color is quite nondescript. I like to color because I don't liked my natural color. But right now I don't want to do any damage while it's growing back and I don't want commitment. I left this in about 15 minutes. I washed wish a clarifying shampoo first. I was very careful to clean any at the edges of my hairline. It turned my hair a beautiful deep copper red. Very rich color. Lovely and gave me just the boost I wanted. Turned my full color a flattering shade that really highlights my pale skin and grey eyes. Extremely happy with color results and the health of my hair. Lightly stains scalp. Hope it stays for a few shampoos. I will keep using this to boost the warm tones in my hair without damaging my fine fragile stands. Worth it.

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I have been growing out my formerly blonde hair for a year. Because my hair was so bleached before, it had been a struggle keeping hair color on my strands and I have spent loads trying to get back to brunette (which feels dumb). My hair has a noticeable line of demarcation about six inches down, I was hoping this gloss would blend it out so I could avoid the salon for some time. It is definitely a tint effect, I hoped that it would be more effective but I think my expectations were too high. The line of demarcation is noticeably blended. but still there. I used the warm medium brown gloss, there was no off putting smell, left it on for about one hour. My hair does look shinier and feels softer.

I used the medium brown and left it in for 60 min. I have some blonde ends I'm trying to grow out, they are dry and brittle. The rest is my virgin hair. It definitely darkened my hair and made it more shiny but I feel that the bleached ends still feel brittle. Once I'm done with this bottle I will try the dark brown.

I have a copper toned red hair color and was looking for a product that would limit my trips to the salon and I found it at my local Ulta. This product is incredible and every time I use it my family and friends ask if I just got my hair done. It adds so much beautiful color every time that I will repurchase!

I was so excited to try this product, but I was disappointed in the color. It is a fake looking red. Not copper at all. I have natural red hair that leans more strawberry blonde. It may be better for colored red hair. I'll be returning.

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

Warm golden brown color is amazing. Natural. Not red or orange. Doesn't ever oversaturate and come out too dark. Gives deep color boost. Only color depositing product that ever covered/blends my greys. Temporarily of course, but still! Leaves my hair super soft and with a natural looking shine. My hair is super curly. Comes out frizz free and not weighed down. Doesn't tangle. Buys a lot of time between colorings. Keeps hair looking freshly colored. Warm, with depth, not faded. Totally natural looking color. Worth the price. One bottle lasts through many uses. Don't need to use more than I would with any regular conditioner. Just one fat dollop spreads easily through hair.consistency is like regular conditioner, not a gel-like gloss.
You can wear gloves if you like... but also washes off hands immediately when I use my go to: a palmful of baking soda mixed with whatever body wash I have at the time. Have gotten a tiny bit shower walls . Has never stained. (Original 1940's tile with white grout that is in dire need of sealing)

I love this product! It adds subtle highlights. I use the Golden Blonde. I use about 1-2 Tbs and work it in after I have squeezed the water out of my hair. Before I wash it off, I add a little water and lather it all over and leave for another 2-3 minutes. It add shine and color hints. It is not a bright color. It doesn't color gray but adds a light hue. I don't color my hair anymore and this takes the place of coloring for me. Conditions my hair as well.

Hello I am interesting in purchasing the DPHUE Color Boosting GLOSS+ Deep Conditioning Treatment but dont know what color to get I had "bayalage" done but it looks more of a ombre/bayalage and the color got super warm/orange/lighter after one wash I am a dark brunette and dont know if i should use the cool dark brown or the warm medium brown. I dont mind if the dark brown makes the color darker a little but still not sure need an experts opinion.

                      Hello!
The Color Boosting Gloss + is very true to pigment, so based on your description I would use the Warm Brown Medium, the Cool Dark Brown may cover your balayage completely.
You can also help eliminate the orange tones with our Cool Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner!

I used the Orlando PITA play, Brunette. I loved the product however it is no longer available. I see that this might be a good replacement. Which color would you recommend as a replacement for Brunette? I have medium brown hair, I get it professionally done dark brown. It fades quickly so I am looking for something in between visits.

                      Hello!
I would start with the Warm Brown Medium Color Boosting Gloss + for the full amount of time. The pigment is very true to tone, so if you do not feel this would be dark enough, I would recommend the Dark Brown/Black on wet hair for 3 minutes to start.
                      Hope this helps!

We use a very gentle formula and specialize in gray coverage! If you are worried, I would recommend doing a patch test. All you have to do is mix a drop of developer and color together and apply by about one inch above ear. Let process, if you experience any burning/tingling be sure to rinse with cold water.

I just tried the cool dark brown gloss. I am about 25% gray and was looking to blend my gray roots and lift my color until my next professional coloring. I went with the cool Brown because my hair tends to pull red and brassy tones easily when colored.
It did blend my gray roots some however it looks pretty flat almost like shoe polish. Should I try mixing it with the medium warm brown?
