Color Me Impressed

By LoVilla

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

I have a touch of sebhorreic dermatitis, and this product soothed the redness, and the flaking is gone. And I just used it for the first time today. Scrunched it onto my scalp, shampooed and then voila. Highly recommend.

works amazing but...

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

So I've tried so many scalp scrubs trying to get my scalp healthy from the day to day build up( skin, product, general everyday pollution). I've had one other one that's amazing but double the price for a smaller jar. this stuff does just as good of a job cleansing my scalp without gouging my wallet. the only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is the smell. It's absolutely horrible, but if you use this first and then shampoo it's fine and gets rid of that awful smell.

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

I have a dry, flaky scalp and this product has worked wonders in solving that problem in only two uses. A lot of people have complained about the smell, but I don't think it's very noticeable. I am going to use this product once or twice a week. It's a bit pricey, but in my opinion very worth it.

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

I decided to get this product as an add on to my FabFitFun box as I was looking for some sort of scalp treatment. After purchasing, I read the reviews on Ulta and was super nervous after reading the negative reviews here. Ive struggled with dandruff my entire life and as of late my scalp has gotten much worse so I tried it, regardless of the reviews. As soon as I got out of that first shower there was an IMMEDIATE difference!! From brushing to blow drying I was always covered in dandruff and when I scratched it would be under my nails. Blow dryed my hair after that first use and there was NO dandruff on my shoulders and none under my nails. I'm blown away by this product. Yes, the smell is horrible and that was why I gave it four stars but I think you just need to figure out your own routine. I shampoo, use this treatment, then condition and I rarely got a scent of the apple cider vinegar. It's pricey but definitely worth trying it. Ulta has a great return policy if it just doesn't work out for you but this is now a staple in my shower. Im super grateful that I found this product.

I bought this today in store and just used it.
It literally left my hair squeaky clean! I did have tingling on my scalp where my scalp was dry (along hairline). But nothing painful!
I did not shampoo afterwards. I just rinsed product out well and used my usual It's a 10 conditioner. After styling as usual, my scalp and hair felt light, airy, smooth, and clean!
Some people have complained about the smell. Hello! It has vinegar in it! I did not find the smell that offensive! I definitely recommend this product!

I have long hair- so yes you have to be strategic to get it on your scalp and applied thoroughly- but my dandruff was gone after 2 uses and has stayed clear after 2 weeks. Love this product! Just hate I had to get it at Ulta. Tried to use a coupon and of course it didn't work for the 3 items I purchased- which is the case EVERY time. I prefer no coupons to even be sent at this point.

This was amazing! I have locks and sometimes just want something to really clean my scalp deeply. This absolutely did the trick! I love the way it made my scalp feel and my locks were happy too. The only downside is the smell but to be honest for it to have apple cider vinegar in it, it's really not that bad.

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

I bought the scalp scrub first and noticed the product said it's best used with the rinse as well. I had no idea really how to use the products as the instructions are pretty brief. What works for me is that I use the "system" (scalp scrub, rinse, leave-in spray) once a week. For context, I only wash my hair about 2 times per week. I shampoo first, then use the scalp scrub, then put in the rinse on my scalp and massage it in, and put conditioner on my ends at the same time. After I rinse and towel dry, I use the leave-in spray and comb using a wide-tooth comb. I always notice such a huge difference in my hair both when I rinse and when I comb out my hair.
Before I purchased the rinse and leave-in, I used the scalp scrub alone and still noticed a huge difference. I wasn't sure how much to use but I used three fingers to scoop some out (not a lot) and rubbed it between my fingers then went into my scalp from the sides. Despite what the label said, the product does lather somewhat for me.

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

So here's my issue with this one. I had the ACV Rinse from a FFF box that I love, when I went to buy a new bottle from Ulta I saw this product. Price tag scared me, but I wanted more for my hair so I bought it. The smell isn't pretty. It's a vinegar base product so I knew it was coming. Still, if you don't like vinegar or can't at all handle it then don't buy this. It was difficult to get down on my actual scalp and I felt like I was more so cleaning my roots in a very poor manner. It didn't spread easily in my hair and I felt like it was just clumped in one area even though I tried to spread it. I ended up using half the jar just to try to cover my scalp. Washing it out was awful. It took forever and I ended up having to wash my hair twice. All in all this product just wasn't for me. THANKFULLY my money wasn't wasted though. My husband has a dry scalp, acne, and some type of fungal issue behind his ears. I told him to give this a whirl since his hair is MUCH shorter than mine and see if it helps his issues. After his first use his hair was so remarkably soft and he said that this really helped clean all the junk off his scalp. He said he had nail bends full of grime and build up that he got off. He used it behind his ears as well and the fungal issue went away. Since then his scalp has been healthier, no sores or acne, and no fungal issue behind his ear. I would 100% recommend this item to anyone with short hair, but long hair I think you should try the rinse instead.

Comments about dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub With Pink Himalayan Sea Salt:

I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners in my life and have had dandruff on and off my whole life. I tried this product because my scalp had gotten so bad due to medication and stress that it was no longer just dandruff, there was tons of scabs all over my scalp.
After one use over half the scabs had cleared up and gone away. After just 3 treatments with this scrub my scalp was completely clear and healthy. I have never come across a product that has worked as well as this one has. It is true that the smell isn't the best, but after I use the scrub I rinse. then shampoo and condition with Paul Mitchell tea tree moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels and smells great. It was well worth the money.

Hi Nellie! The best way to apply is to put the product in your hands, rub your hands together to cover your palms and fingers, and massage through the scalp. You can also pull up the top half of your hair (like you're putting in a half ponytail) and apply some directly to the back of your head to ensure you're getting that area. Hope this helps!
