Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen:

I bought this product in store, and have been wearing it for about a month, and I can say that if you are really oily or live in a hot climate this is not for you. I am very greasy and it did not mattify me at all. It also left white streaks on my face if I had put anything on underneath it. I am extremely pale so this was surprising. I have to just wear this on top of a toner, no serum or moisturizer, if I want it to sit well. It wears well underneath makeup, though, even when it's streaky

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen:

I love the fact that this is a dry sunscreen! It's white when you apply it but it does dry clear. Especially now the hot weather has arrived, I hate feeling like I'm sweating sunscreen. I really like La Roche-Posay products and I'm not disappointed with this one.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen:

Trying to be much more sun conscious I wanted a sunscreen that wouldn't be greasy and Mae my makeup melt off and be gross. This applies easily, protects well, and isn't greasy and nasty. I like the consistency and the dry touch aspect of it and my makeup is staying on just fine. Was worth the price to find something to protect as well as be nice to my skin. Just be careful around the eyes because obviously it stings if you get it too close. It's still sunblock after all.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen:

I bought this product because it was recommended by an Ulta employee. I have very sensitive skin and every sunscreen I try my face either breaks out and/or stings and burns at application. I'm very fair skin with skin cancer in most of my immediate family so protection is extremely important. This product has been fabulous, no rash, doesn't burn or sting and I've gone out in the sun without a sunburn. Success!

Although this product is geared towards those who want an oil free product, likely to be used on their face, I use it on my hands to prevent "age spots". It has a matte finish and is invisible once applied.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen:

I have only used this product three times, but I already know I love it more than any other sunscreen I have used. Sunscreens and I have a rough relationship, and even though I have only used this a handful of times..I have a feeling it is going to be a long-lasting relationship! My boys breakout too, so I will try it on them too! If my opinion changes, I will return to let you all know!

I have fair, oily congested skin and have a hard time finding sunscreens that will give me protection and not cause my skin to break out. This sunscreen is great for every day use but I have been burnt while using it during kayak trips on the lake after an hour. Also, it will sting/burn your eyes when perspiring. It does not give me breakouts. This is my every day sunscreen and I would recommend it for that purpose but not for extended sports/water use.

                A:

Thank you for your interest in La Roche-Posay, a brand of The L'Oréal Group.

Our consumers' health and safety have always been an absolute priority for L'Oréal. As is the support of animal welfare.

L'Oréal has developed a very rigorous safety evaluation procedure of its products, backed by research. Well before the question of animal testing was raised by civil society or within a regulatory framework, L'Oréal has been committed to new methods of assessing safety that don't involve animals. A true pioneer, L'Oréal has been reconstructing human skin models in laboratories to elaborate in vitro safety tests since 1979, as an alternative to animals. In 1989, L'Oréal completely ceased testing its products on animals, thus 14 years before the regulation required so. Today, L'Oréal no longer tests its ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule.

Certain health authorities may nevertheless decide to conduct animal tests themselves for certain cosmetic products, as it is still the case in China. L'Oréal has been the most active company working alongside the Chinese authorities and scientists for over 10 years to have alternative testing methods recognized, and permit the cosmetic regulation to evolve towards a total and definite elimination of animal testing. Thanks to this, since 2014, certain products manufactured and sold in China like shampoo, body wash or make-up are no longer tested on animals.
