How to Use

You will not regret this purchase! The quality blows me away!!! I honestly think the shimmers are the best quality I've used in my entire life—better than Anastasia, Urban Decay, Stila, def Colourpop... They're SO thick, creamy, bright, & reflective. They look like they have some kind of beautiful shimmer filter on them, like in an ad! Lol. The champagne purple is a really unique, beautiful color, & I'm in love w/ that and the shimmer lilac. There's also zero kickback (or w/e you call the dust that wastes product when you dip in your brush). Didn't know that was even possible. The pans are huuuge, too. The only cons are that 1. the two darker shimmers are very similar in color, at least when swatched (only two I haven't worn yet) & 2. the matte lilac is sheerer than the others, but for pastel eyeshadow in general, it's actually pretty pigmented, as well as very buildable. It's just that the other shades only need a single layer, & this needs a little more to get opaque. Then again, that's good if you're using it for a transition shade. If you like violets, seriously buy this now!
I really wanted to like this palette, I am a huge fan of the color purple and I wanted to support more black-owned businesses. That was one thing that had me with high hopes on this palette. I myself am extremely pale toned, and I do makeup for people with darker skin, and I know pigmentation is a must to show up for them. This palette didn't have it, and that surprised me. I ordered online so I couldn't tell the quality from the photos, the price seemed mid-range for a 6 pan palette so I expected mid-grade quality, maybe Morphe or Colourpop level. I first dipped into the bottom right color (they're not named also the info on the back of the package is impossible to read due to poor choice in gradient use) The matte colors didn't impress. The darkest color looked really faint, so I really had to pack it on with a dense brush. I will say though, for my complexion it works well, the colors are muddled or patchy and the colors are decent if you are willing to work with it. I realize purple is a difficult color to pull off but my grief aside my expectations for the color to pay out more is that the formula irritated my eyes from the start. Such a shame since I really wanted to like this palette. I may have to return it for that, if it was only the color issue I'd have kept it but I don't think I can use it.

I was so excited to purchase this item because I love purple. Until I was trying to do a simple look & the matte shades were just not showing up?? The pastel purple shade took some work which I was not mad about...until I used the darker purple shade & it was horrible. It was patchy & fading away when I was trying to just deepen my outer corners. The shimmers were GORGEOUS, but I do not want to keep this palette just for the shimmers. I hope Juvias can step up their matte formula in the future. I also used the P Louise eye primer for this look.

The colors blend without getting muddy, the pigment isnt strong when using a less dense brush but buildable so it makes up for it. Great color pallet , and passed the all day wear test.

I just received this product and dabbed a fingertip into one of the pans. I could see the cardboard bottom.
What's up with that?

Juvia's Place, you never disappoint and this palette is a winner. 🏆I love a good purple and all six of these shades are ridiculously pigmented and beautiful. I've had my eye on this for a while but I wanted to see it in person so fortunately my local Ulta had just received this and I couldn't get there fast enough (don't judge, I know - it's an eyeshadow palette 😂) The colors that you see on Ulta's website are very true to what they are in person. Purple perfection. 💜💜💜💜💜🏆💯

Originally I was disappointed in this product but I gave it another shot and realized it wasn't the cause of my eye irritation. My biggest beef with it is that color isn't dark enough. I was hoping for goth vampy vibes and got fairy princess instead.

I've purchased several purple palettes trying to find one with good pigment and tones that suited my skin type. This palette did not disappoint. In fact, it beats the Kylie purple palette and several other expensive products. This is my go-to for purple!

The Violet color pallet was super pretty but the colors are not true to the eye. They are not as strong a color or as vibrant as they look. Super disappointed

This was exactly what I was looking for. I love purple shades and this palette hit the mark. The colors are super pretty and not a lot of fall out which is nice. I have never used this brand before but now I'm interested in more.

I love this palette. It's so pigmented. I kinda had to chase it down to buy it as the Ultas near me did not have it in stock. But I gotta say it was worth it.

Like a few people here, I bought this palette for the lavender shade in the bottom right. In person it's a deeper blue based purple. That and the dark purple above it are patchy and not very pigmented, but I don't expect much from matte shadows anyway.
The shimmers are absolutely gorgeous! I used a spray to enhance the shine before applying and shadow went on like a liquid and stayed all day.
I will be buying more from JP!

I regret waiting so long to buy my first Juvia's place palette - I really loved that this was a COOL toned purple/lavender palette which quickly and easily makes stunning looks. The fair lavender was PIGMENTED and stands strong alone which I love.

I bought this palette for the light matte purple shade, but all the matte shades are patchy and hard to blend. I used it with an eyeshadow primer, concealer, foundation, and I still had trouble blending. They're just really patchy. But the shimmer shade are beautiful! That kinda makes up for how patchy the matte shades are. Other than that, I'd continue using this palette.

It is super hard to find a dedicated palette for purples, especially with metallics. This palette is top-notch quality, has big pans, and the formula is to die for. Has both cooler and warmer purples, so whatever look you are trying to go for, this palette is what you need. Definitely a Juvia's fan now!

This pallet is seriously so good. I've never really messed around with purples too much but I find myself reaching for this one all the time now. The top middle shimmer shade is oof. Actually they all are the best you really cant go wrong with any. Would definitely reccomend

Introduced to the brand by an ad from Ulta for Black designers and took a look see. Best thing ever. I now own seven palettes filled with natural to bold shades.
