This is a lovely palette! I'd had my eye on it for a while and I am glad I decided to get it.
This is a small palette but the shadows themselves are very large. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one!
The shimmers are smooth, creamy, and leave a foiled sheen. They play well with one another and are easy to create a nice gradient with. They apply best with a finger.
As for the mattes, without a proper eye primer you may find that they are not as blendable and the color is not as intense as you may like. I tried using concealer as a base initially and I was disappointed in the way that the colors looked. The deep purple kind of diffuses out and doesn't show up. However, with a decent eye primer they are some of the most lovey mattes I have used! The color payoff is great and the lasting power is good. Minimal fallout on the face. I have been using a NYX eye primer and it has been working perfectly well for me; no need for anything fancy!
Overall, I really enjoy this palette. While not the most eclectic, it has a color scheme and it does that well. I will definitely be checking out more Juvia's Place shadows in the future!
I really wanted to like this palette, I am a huge fan of the color purple and I wanted to support more black-owned businesses. That was one thing that had me with high hopes on this palette. I myself am extremely pale toned, and I do makeup for people with darker skin, and I know pigmentation is a must to show up for them. This palette didn't have it, and that surprised me. I ordered online so I couldn't tell the quality from the photos, the price seemed mid-range for a 6 pan palette so I expected mid-grade quality, maybe Morphe or Colourpop level. I first dipped into the bottom right color (they're not named also the info on the back of the package is impossible to read due to poor choice in gradient use) The matte colors didn't impress. The darkest color looked really faint, so I really had to pack it on with a dense brush. I will say though, for my complexion it works well, the colors are muddled or patchy and the colors are decent if you are willing to work with it. I realize purple is a difficult color to pull off but my grief aside my expectations for the color to pay out more is that the formula irritated my eyes from the start. Such a shame since I really wanted to like this palette. I may have to return it for that, if it was only the color issue I'd have kept it but I don't think I can use it.

I like This pallet but it is not as pigmented as I Had hoped but with primer it it's all right for me but the glitter shades are not very pigmented and don't show up that well but overall I think it's a nice product for the price and I would definitely buy it again

I wanted a purple purple palette in the worst way my very first Juvis place product and I have to say I'm disappointed but I will give the berries palette a try.

Beautiful purple color selection but I felt like it was a little girls make up kit you got at the dollar store no pigment whatsoever

No surprise that this Juvias place palette is so beautiful and pigmented just like all the other palettes. I had to get this one I love purple. 💜 You won't be disappointed.

colors are so pigmented and last all day, my new favorite pallet. the pans are large even though it's a small pallet and doesn't take up much space

Got this on sale so it was a steal. The colors are beautiful and have a big pay off for the price. I did not have any trouble blending - which says something as I'm a bit of a rookie makeup wise when it comes to blending different colors and getting enough product on my brush so that it's not an agonizingly long time to do ones eye shadow. Very little fall out also. Overall pleased with this pallet being cool toned purples instead of pinked version of purples. Worth getting!

I have several other Juvia's palettes and this one just wasn't as pigmented. It took lots of building to get the colors to show

Love this palette! You do have to build it up a little bit but otherwise I love it!

I was excited to pick this up because I love purple and have had good experiences with Juvia's Place. This palette, however, was rather disappointing. The matte shades have next to no pigment. I am nearly translucent, and I had to sit and fight to get them to show up on my skin. Even then, the darker purple was incredibly patchy and just looked bad. Both matte shades are super dry. The shimmers are quite pretty and buttery, so I'm glad they make up 2/3 of the palette.

It's nearly impossible to find a good matte purple! They're all either too pink or horribly patchy. But this one is fantastic! A nice violet purple, goes on smoothly, blends well. The shimmers also go on like a dream and give good coverage. I've had the best luck when applying them with my finger (using a brush makes them fairly light). Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a good, non-patchy purple palette!

I bought this palette along with the berries one. Both of them are difficult to apply in order to match the color on the palette. I have very pale skin and thought I would really be buffing color off so it wouldn't look clownish. Instead, I find myself putting on more and more to reach the darker color I want. Maybe that's a plus for some people?
I'll use this up but I won't be buying Juvia eye shadows again.

Ended up depotting and only saved 1 shade. The mattes are sheer and not buildable and the shimmers are hard and lackluster. This was my first juvias place pallete. I have been on the hunt for amazing purples and had heard their formula was extremely pigmented.

The shimmers in this palette are SO pretty and creamy, and apply like a dream. However, the 2 matte shades were not it for me. The pigment was not there, and they were rather powdery, in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend this palette, simply because there is only 2 mattes. The shimmers make up for it.

this is one of the few (if only) purple palettes that doesn't turn into an odd pink on my lids. Highly recommended! And the pans are actually quite large, so the price is worth it.

I had high hopes for this palette from watching reviews. Pigment is great, but the mattes are easily dusted off the eye when you try to blend. Even on oily skin, they don't like to stick.
The metallics are pretty but can't be picked up easily on a brush.
It makes me not want to use it out of my collection because the look never turns out as good as I want.

Beautiful colors and very pigmented. Grate for deeper skin tones. I recommend this product for everyone
Sonja from North Carolina
The colors are really nice and they do apply and blend very easily. The only issue is they lack pigment. If you do multiple layers then the pigment is there but it is not a one layer application. I would normally give 3 stars for this but because the price point is good I gave it 4 stars.
