Wet skin with lukewarm water. Pump cleanser into hands and work into lather. Massage into skin in a gentle, circular motion. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry without rubbing. Cleanse morning and/or evening.
Precautions: Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Recommendation: For light makeup: You can use the Toleriane cleanser alone. Makes face burn.
Did some research before picking up this item at my local Ulta, only to find out that it makes my face feel really hot when it touches the skin, and even hotter when I run it under water to rinse it off. I like it
It's gentle, it's hydrating, it washes off easily, doesn't leave residue, doesn't cause acne, and feels soothing to irritated or sensitive skin. But, it's not the best for removing makeup, and especially not waterproof makeup. I still like it though, and it's a great second step in a double cleanse routine especially if the first wash is drying or stripping like salicylic acid washes. Also, I bought this to survive an exceedingly dry winter, with naturally combo to dry skin. It's been helpful.
I wouldn't buy this again
Somehow I missed that this cleanser doesn't contain soap. I did use it and gave it several tries but felt it did nothing for my face. I prefer the La Roche wash over this.
It burns
This burns when I use it to wash my face. ☹️
Does not cleanse
I finished the whole face wash and will not be repurchasing. While it is hydrating it doesn't cleanse very well.
Drying and Irritating for Sensitives skin
I have been using this cleanser since i started my dermatology ointments for my acne. It has been a over a year and a half that I have consistently used this product and have continued to have dry skin with no end in sight. It would leave my skin feeling tight and burn when i used it. I finally made the switch to the CeraVe Hydrating facial wash and will not be looking back. My skin no longer feels dry and doesnt burn when i wash it. Sometimes the higher price point doesnt indicate a better product.
