Perfect For Humid Climates

I was born with eczema so the skin on my body is dry and sometimes gets random itchy patches if I don't keep up with moisturizer The skin on my face is oily to combo and I've always suffered from acne since middle school I also live in the worst place for my skin type a hot and humid state called Fl...orida which is a nightmare for my eczema and acne-prone skin I've been using Clinique for years because it's what my mom has always used and suggested to me While I like some of their products I honestly didn't get the results I wanted My acne never truly went away and my skin still has some acne scars and pigmentation left over I was running low on my Clinique products but didn't feel it was worth spending more money there when I wasn't getting any results I saw an ad for the water and dewy creams by Tatcha on Instagram so I decided to take a look because why not I purchased a mini size of the water cream since it was advertised for combo to oily skin types plus the Kissu lip mask I've been using this water cream for about a month after washing my face with what was left of my Clinique oily to combo facial soap this soap honestly left my face a little too dry and tight after use I used to use the Clinique face gel after washes until it ran out and then started using the Tatcha water cream Without having used any cleansers from Tatcha as of this review the water cream alone has improved the skin texture on my face The face gel I used from Clinique would dry up pretty after a while but this water cream actually lasts all day This cream is very light so I don't feel the product on my face after applying it but if I lightly touch my face I know you're not supposed to but I had to test it I can feel the subtle moisture still there to protect my skin I still have some occasional PMS acne pop up at the end of the month but they go away quickly The old acne scars I've had for years on my cheeks are slowly starting to fade away after using the water cream for about a month I also had tiny little bumps on my forehead that weren't acne but they are gradually starting to disappear too The water cream is scented It smells kind of like a spa Some people say the scent is strong but in my opinion it's really not that strong unless you purposefully dig your nose into the product don't do that obviously I was a little worried when I smelled it because my skin is sensitive to most scented products but thankfully I didn't get any negative reaction or skin irritation I heard the indigo overnight repair cream is unscented and good for sensitive skin but I've yet to try that one For someone who lives in a very hot and humid climate especially during the summer WITH oily-combo-acne-prone skin the water cream is perfect! For my job I work outside taking care of animals so I get exposed to all kinds of dirt sun and humidity animal saliva the usual The cream does hold up despite the intense elements I put myself through It IS pricey especially for a college student like me but if you're not wasting money on luxury clothes and Loius Vuitton bags every month then heck yeah you can invest in good luxury skincare! What's most important to me is caring for my body My skin has always been problematic and most other products I've tried either made my skin burn break out or showed no results I'm running low on my mini water cream so I just purchased the gratitude size and I ordered the classic rice polish to go with it I'm excited to see the results of these two combined when I receive them in a few days It is expensive but for me it's a good investment for my sensitive skin which is frequently exposed to harsh elements
