- Q
What percentage of vitamin c is in this product?
- Asked by CML
- Official Answer By MuradFirst let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. Our products are designed to treat a specific concern within the skin, keeping in mind our Whole-Person Health approach. Was this answer helpful to you

Great brand and product
This is a great Vit C and glycolic acid serum. It does rhe job of smoothing and helping with discoloration. I have to comment on a previous reviewer who falsely stated that this product "does not even have Vit C in it." Well that's because you don't know that ascorbic acid is another name for Vit C....

love
worth the try. on second bottle
Defently would recommend.
Makes a difference on glow in your skin. Allows the foundation a perfect base .
Best Vit C I've tried
Murad was the first vitamin C serum I ever tried after receiving in a beauty box. Since then I've tried a variety of other brands/formulas but this one is my favorite! Reaults are quick and consistent without upsetting my skin batrier and no stinky smell! I also love the bottle as it keeps Vit C potent. Easy to pump the amount you want without wasting any. I've now purchased it multiple times.
Meh, not for me
I love Murad products but this did not do it for me :( Very sad. Using it was not the most enjoyable experience. It can also be irritating at times but that goes away pretty quickly. Overall I just did not see much improvement in my skin and nothing special. Not sure if it's just the new formula? Would much rather use their retinol line — every product was awesome.
Disappointed
I switched Vit C serum, thinking this would be even better since it was recommended by an employee. I saw redness disappearing when I first used Vit C, I switched to Murad and my redness is back as bad as it first was when I used nothing.
