Q
What percentage of vitamin c is in this product?
Asked by CML
Official Answer By Murad
First let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. Our products are designed to treat a specific concern within the skin, keeping in mind our Whole-Person Health approach. Was this answer helpful to you

Great brand and product

This is a great Vit C and glycolic acid serum. It does rhe job of smoothing and helping with discoloration. I have to comment on a previous reviewer who falsely stated that this product "does not even have Vit C in it." Well that's because you don't know that ascorbic acid is another name for Vit C....

Best Vit C I've tried

Murad was the first vitamin C serum I ever tried after receiving in a beauty box. Since then I've tried a variety of other brands/formulas but this one is my favorite! Reaults are quick and consistent without upsetting my skin batrier and no stinky smell! I also love the bottle as it keeps Vit C potent. Easy to pump the amount you want without wasting any. I've now purchased it multiple times.

Meh, not for me

I love Murad products but this did not do it for me :( Very sad. Using it was not the most enjoyable experience. It can also be irritating at times but that goes away pretty quickly. Overall I just did not see much improvement in my skin and nothing special. Not sure if it's just the new formula? Would much rather use their retinol line — every product was awesome.

Disappointed

I switched Vit C serum, thinking this would be even better since it was recommended by an employee. I saw redness disappearing when I first used Vit C, I switched to Murad and my redness is back as bad as it first was when I used nothing.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
